Once again we see the deleterious effect of the SCOTUS Citizens United decision. The Koch brothers whose father was a confidant of murderous Russian dictator Joseph Stalin, and was also a founding member of the John Birch society, have injected millions of dollars into a local school board race in an attempt to destroy Raleigh NC public school system. The top item on their agenda is to resegregate the school system. The video has all the details.

If you didn't watch the video that starts this thread check it out now. The Koch brothers injected some of their fortune into a local school board race in Wake County- Raleigh North Carolina; supporting the RepubliKlan candidate, who subsequently won the race. The Koch brothers funded candidate main goal was NOT to make the schools better via, better computers, better teachers, more High School AP classes, better school athletic facilities, etc. The Koch brothers funded candidate sole agenda was to end the school boards 50 year policy of making sure that the districts schools were integrated.

The overwhelming majority of parents white & Black not only approved of the districts school integration policies but also felt that it was benefiting the students Black & white who were able to form friendships that might not occur organically, due to the continuance of housing segregation.

Despite the opposition of the majority of parents and with significant lobbying by the Koch brothers the 5-4 (5 Republiklans & 4 Democrats) school board voted to end school integration.

On election day Nov. 8th 2011 despite more outside Koch brothers money pouring into the district for the RepubliKlan school board candidate, <span style="background-color:yellow">the Democrats regained control of the school board 5-4 and the order to ReSegregate the schools will be rescinded.</span>

just leave the UNITED STATES already....theres nothing else left to be there for.......that's the best solution to all this madness........the united states aint no better than any other country in the world......to those who think they have to put up with this kind of madness is fooloing and short sighting themselves.

Anyone pro segregation? I mean they segregated the schools but never revamped the way they teach the content. The curriculum was developed for literal learner vs. visual or audible learners. Segregation was probably the worst thing to happen to the black child...what the school system does is like taking a bird, plucking all its feathers out, and telling it to survive, it must swim like a fish...

Many leaders have spoken about how segregation didn't really serve its purpose which was to ensure all students had adequate facilities to learn in, books, etc. I don't know about you but I would rather my kid be in an environment where his/her genius is cultivated but the desks are a little rickity (which they are anyway cause urban school systems have no money) than to drop them in an environment where the teaching methods are not made with them in mind.

When people have this much money, they can turn a democracy into tyranny easily. A socialist system like France, people are more free since they are not subject to the whims of one ultra rich person.
