Let me tell you a story…
Back in 2007, I graduate from ECPI University with an Associate Degree in Information Technology/Networking & Security Management. Upon graduating I NEVER found a job I actually wanted so I decided to look for other means of acquiring income.
I was a hustler at the time so I decided to finally visit Myspace.com to see what the hype was all about. Within the first week I was chatting with many people from the east coast to the west coast. I came across a profile on MySpace with a unique story on a woman’s profile that got my attention.
She started a mastermind group helping hundreds of people which at the time I thought was an interesting concept.
Finally, I got the courage to send her an email and we eventually had a conversation over the telephone. I was so nervous because at the time I NEVER gave my contact information to anyone over the internet. We had a GREAT conversation and I found out she lived in Los Angeles making a living from home selling personal development products.
She wanted to introduce me to a MILLIONAIRE which is the person who got her started in this business. Three months later, there was a marketing and copywriting conference being held in Newark, New Jersey near the airport in October 2008.
So I decided to attend the conference and met Joe the MILLIONAIRE along with some down-to-earth people. Joe was a copywriter and an ex-street musician working from home over 20 years.
I asked Joe what was has secret to success? How did you make the BIG money? “He said Lopaze, if you want to make the big money you have to be known for something (copywriter, marketing consultant, public speaker, promoter, music producer, top salesmen, etc.) and you have to take on more responsible.”
Joe added, “you have to be unique to stand out from the competition and learn how to draw a crowd.” You have to be hard to replaced by clients or customers and be willing to go against what everyone else is doing in society. For example, if everybody is going left, go right. If everybody is buying now, buy later.
If you change your mind, you change your life.”
You also have to control your emotions and NEVER get caught off guard with human behavior. People are very unpredictable so you have to ALWAYS be able to out think and outsmart them…period!
Listening to these concepts changed my whole way of thinking because I grew up very conservative. In my household certain things won’t talked about and making money was a taboo subject.
Most of the population is like sheep and they have a tendency to follow the latest trends within the media because they have been conditioned and programmed not to think. Once I put into practice this way of thinking, I have NEVER been the same.
It doesn’t matter what happens in the world, you have to have a strong desire within propelling you to keep moving forward to achieve greatness. I definitely have a NEW perspective on life and figured out what really matters.
Over the years I noticed most millionaires share there past lives to the world and the people making a living usually hide there past. Your mess is your message.
