Im not surprised!! You cant take all those shots to the front of your head and not walk away like nothing happened!!! Heavy weight boxer have sum big ass hands and sum power behind them!! Im really surprised boxing and mma are still around!! I guess people need their dose of gladiator fighters!! Anyway, brain injuries aren't to be taken lightly!!

I always wondered why Muhammad Ali is/was the only boxer/athlete in history to be diseased with Parkinson's and nobody else.

You don't need head Trauma for Parkinson's. Just some fucked up luck and bad genes. Michael J Fox has Parkinson's. I think to some Degree Ali's later boxing career may have hurt his health but here is a guy before being stripped of the title that was very fast and hard to hit. I would say he really didn't start taking excessive punishment until after the Thrilla in Manila. There he should have quit. It is possible that Ali had Young Onset Parkinson's disease which in turn caused him to take more punishment in the ring in his later uears. The typical age for Parkinson's is about 60 yrs but Young Onset can strike in the mid 30s-40s. Boxers who end up with dementia pugilistica get that over the course of their career and it gets worse with age but it's not exactly like Parkinson's. I think Joe Frazier was a bit punch drunk as they say. His speech slurred a bit as he got older. Frazier took a lot of shots to the head over the course of his career due to his style and stature.

Somewhere in the late 60's when Ali vocally refused to fight in Vietnam between the ages 22-29, I believe Ali could have been poisoned/hacked before he had his return fight with Joe Frazier in 1971.
The government was doing all types of sick scientific experimentations with black bodies during that time.

And I just don't believe that it was by accident. If you were considered a black leader by the government: they either killed you, imprisoned you, exiled you, or silenced you.

I doubt that Ali was poisoned. I mean why go to that length and not kill him. They took their shot by not allowing him to box. Deny him a way to make a living and ruin him financially. Which back fired of course. They did the same thing to Eartha Kitt. She was black balled much like Kaepernick is now. They couldn't kill everyone. I believe they saved that for those they consider the biggest threats. MLK for instance.

50yrs?? Im only giving them 25ys at the most!! I really dont see any moms signing forms to let their kid play football and risk future brain injuries!! I let my boys play football, 1 til the age of 20 and the other til the age of 18. Bruh, the thought of brain injuries cross my mind at times. If they were talking about this 25ys ago, there's no way in hell I wouldve gave my ok.. Damn, we were focused on knees, broken bones and those types of injuries.. I guess thats why soccer is the fastest growing sport in my area.

Look at all the boxer who were in the big league, the majority of them have that slur speech!! Listen to iron mike talk today, his speech is slowed down!! Light weight to heavy weight, the human head cant take those hits to the dome for years on years.. Even if, its light jabs!! I love boxing, but I dont want those kats to be 40yrs old and have the brain capacity of a 1yr old. All for my enjoyment.. You know what I mean???
