Kevin Durant is so overrated as a leader it ain't even funny.
No he’s not. You the only one arguing that.
Some guys are non vocal and lead by example.
But I've never heard anyone say that Kevin Durant was a leader, The best player in league but not a vocal leader.
An athlete may be the best player on a team but it does not mean he has the vocal or communication skills to motivate his teammates to perform better.
For example Kwai Leonard, Kevin Durant, are the best on their team and Dereck Rose was the best player on his team when he played for Chicago but these guys were not the players that huddled their teammates together to give them the "Rah Rah, We can do it guys !" speech.
Boy you niggas can turn any discussion into a vagina bleeding bitchfest about lineage. Literally anything. Sports, cars, gay rights, space aliens, it don’t matter.

Hakeem and Pat Ewing are wanna be "yanks"![]()
Good Point.I agree. KD is massively overrated outside of scoring. He is one of the best of this era but his name and legacy won't transcend it. People still make top 10 scorer lists that don't include him because nobody thinks he's better than anyone. His fans will only pit him against LeBron to have somebody to root against him but it's mainly delusion at this point.
ExactlyWho was a good non vocal leader? You can be the best at your job but it is the person who speaks up and socialize that will get all the respect.
It makes absolutely no sense for Ewing to play Basketball for Jamaica.
Basketball on the national level wasn't even taken seriously.
Sad, ain't it?Boy you niggas can turn any discussion into a vagina bleeding bitchfest about lineage. Literally anything. Sports, cars, gay rights, space aliens, it don’t matter.
I know his numbers. I have watched him play this year and through out his career. I didn't explain the "Why Not Harden" ... again chemistry is an issue that I feel would exist even more.Harden was the best assist man in the league this year before he got injured. You must not of seen him play this year.
He could've made it a thing and used his influence. Same for Duncan and the Virgin Islands team, or Hakeem with Nigeria. Point is they were and are proud Americans, "the white people of the diaspora" and no Islander or African calls them coons or sellouts. Then those same folks will gaslight us for repping our native country which is hypocritical.
THIS... here is the thing... who makes their teammates better??? Who is a TRUE leader?I didn’t watch the game but they have too many elite scorers to lose to anybody. That’s crazy that they lost. KD, Beal, Dame an Tatum. That’s a lot of firepower

Sadly, it speaks to a heartbreaking inferiority complex.
Bottom line... the USA Roster is terrible as far as chemistry and the bench is terrible.
Bam Adebayo - How Sway? Miami Heat Bradley Beal Washington Wizards Devin Booker Phoenix Suns Kevin Durant - Chemistry Killer Brooklyn Nets Jerami Grant - How Sway? Detroit Pistons Draymond Green - IQ & Defense Golden State Warriors Jrue Holiday - How Sway? Milwaukee Bucks Zach LaVine - Chicago Bulls Damian Lillard Portland Trail Blazers Kevin Love - How Sway? Cleveland Cavaliers Khris Middleton Milwaukee Bucks Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics
On the part of islanders and Africans yes. Waving flags and repping countries they absolutely don't want to live in while living in America.
When ADOS proudly reps the country our ancestors bled, died, and fought wars for and raises our flags up we are called "the white people of the diaspora" and are told we "not really American, just a lost tribe of Africans"
When the anchor babies pledge allegiance to the flag for citizenship and play for the US over their home "majority Black" countries, it's crickets from the "Pan Africanists" and anti-ADOS.

Is that why its always the same posters on bgol who obsess about turning everything into a lineage flex?
Jamaica has an olympic basketball team?
I see this faggots name and don't even want to post anymore
I didn't say he wasn't a top notch defender, but you said he is arguably the best in the league. No he's not. You got to be a perennial 1st all defensive player to be argued; or at least be 1st team this year an finish top 3
OK.
Kobe. There I said the fags name, now shoo!
This....The Nigerians are Nigerian in name only. They were born in the US, trained
in the US, went to college in the US, and are on the Nigerian team because
they cannot make the US team.
This was USA-A vs USA-B
Islanders and Africans always lineage flex when one of them reaches a plateau or achievement. It doesn't bother me or rub me the wrong way at all. If it did THAT would be an inferiority complex. What's wrong with taking pride in one's lineage? If Hakeem and Ewing are more proud to be American than Nigerian or Jamaican, that's OK too. Just don't gaslight people who are ethnically American when they do the same.![]()
I'm not out of touch at all... Once Devin Booker arrives Jrue will just be on the bench. BAM is a good player and perhaps I shouldn't have said "HOW SWAY? " to him... but he didn't change the outcome last night.I think you out of touch with some of those guys. JErami Grant is a baller as is Bam and Jrue....Kevin Love is a How Sway I agree. But from the looks of things....he's the only semi-healthy cac and they know their "Team USA" gotta have a cac on it.
