I never said that. Only reason we ain't on top is because our music isn't as ignorant as ya'lls and that's what crackas love to push to our youth. Point blank. Again - the rest of the WORLD (expand your views brother) ain't checkin for ya'll, they checkin for those "strange" underground rappers you talk about. There's a reason why this era is generally considered the worst ever in hip hop.

i dont feel no type of way about the conversation we're having right now bruh...you say "all northerners look at southerners as ignorant bamas" but what are you acting like right now?...i been bumpin Outkast, Goodie Mob and Dungeon Family since i was in high school and a lot of my friends bump Southern artists so don't put us all in one box...or put us all in one box it's up to you but just know not all of us feel that way about the South

It's considered the worst era because when rap was pioneered it hadn't developed much by the late 90s... thus not having anything to compare to.

Now, shit have changed and old niggas remember when it first hit radio. 20s years from now... we will be older and phased out. The new generation will consider what's out now as "classics" and compare the music to that.

Again, you talking like NYC is the end all be all to hip hop and everything else is only exclusive to their region of origin.

Ok, then tell me why all these new age (mostly southern) rappers and entertainers are touring these countries making a killing and selling out shows?

Commercially, in terms of sales, air play, video play, and chart-toppers, hip-hop reached its apex in the late 90s. Far from having "not developed much."
