Red Dead Redemption 2 (spoilers)

Got the legendary bear pelt. Didn't know you had to take it to the trapper to get it crafted. So I'm carrying it around until I can unlock the fencer in the camp. As I'm coming back to camp from a mission I get attacked by bandits. Normally I avoid them but I had a full deadeye meter. I ended up getting killed by witnesses and lost my legendary pelt. Didn't want to go back an hour from my last manual save.:smh:

I've seen videos of him coming from behind the rock while you tracking him. When I turned the corner then heard a roar but didn't see him. Sounded like he was behind me. I started diving all over the place. I literally stood up when the bear started mauling me.
 
I haven't been using dead eye much. Really just forgot how to mark the targets. You just move the reticle over the opppent right?
 
Think I'm gonna start over since I am learning more about the game and racked up some big bounties on accident. I'm not too far so it's cool. My issue is trying to search everything. Arthur can be so slow. Had lawmen walking in on me counting money and shooting me the fuck up before I could react. That's why I hate games being called perfect.

I'm 94 hours in on Odyssey. I was trying to go back and fourth with both games the last two days. But decided to just finish Odyssey and then jump fully in on RDR2. The pace of Odyssey is fast and the game play keeps you coming back. No path is forced and you can cut off any long talking cut scenes. In any other year ACO would be game of the year.

I hear ya... I know what you mean. :yes:

Whenever I get ambushed like that... the very first thing I do is press L3+R3 to quickly activate the 'dead eye mode' which gives me a little more time to pull out a weapon... or find some cover... or leave a room... or run around a corner... until I can regain my composure & come back with GUNS BLAZING. :D:yes:

ya but idk if this is done on purpose w/ him improving during the course of the game or if it’s just simply a game flaw...it’s fucking me up tho

I think it’s cause he improves over time. Like you really have to pay attention to your cores... especially eating. If you eat to much or to little it effects you.

I tell you one thing... this is a game that fucking demands a gawd damn instruction manual. I can’t remember all this shit. I got lit up trying to remember how to get my Boom stick of my horse.

Also be sure to feed that son of a bitch.

download the app...it has a pretty thorough manual
 
They take their time to make games but it's well worth it in the end. I'm going to be playing this shit for a year and discover things I didn't know about.

You do have to have some patience tho, I guess as you get farther in the game the pace picks up.
 
How do you do warning shots? The YouTube tips say D-pad up but nothing happens. Tied of having to run down a witness.
 
Micah must be a descendant of Trevor. That shootout must have destroyed the honor I had built up.
