Received a check from Progressive Insurance???

First off, I never wreck. So this is new to me. However somebody swiped the rear end of my Audi on a parking lot and drove the fuck off. It was fixed. I received a $290 check for "loss in value" of my vehicle.

I'm grateful for this check, but this shit sounds bad. Loss in value, wtf?

Check your "carax". If the accident was reported by the person who worked on your ride then its all bad cause you have a negative on ur carfax. If nothing is there then look at it as a $290 gift.

Diminished value is a law in GA. When your vehicle was fixed by your insurance company, they send you a check based on the damage and how much your vehicle is worth. I can post the formula in the morning if you want me to.
