Reccomend ONE album that you love

COMMON SENSE - RESURRECTION (1994)

As far as replay value goes, I've played that one front-to-back a couple of hundred times since buying it around 1995/1996 or so.

Gotta piggyback this one......my lady bought Resurrection for me Xmas of '94. A few weeks later we found out she was pregnant. In college, broke as fuck, depressed, scared.....this album got me through some tough times. I have bought this tape, album, CD, and illegally downloaded many times. If I hear ANYTHING from this album, the emotions from that period in my life just come right back.

BUUUUUUT........runner up is.......
BOB JAMES- GOLDEN APPLE. My mother td me that she listened to this album almost everyday when she was pregnant with me. Growing up, I would play this album constantly, it always put me in a good mood when shit got tough.

The whole cd is nice. Lenny Kravitz produced it.They did a duet on it that bad as hell & of course... never got any radio play:smh:

Of course it didn't. The pop stations probably thought it was "too r&b" and the r&b stations thought it was "too pop". Radio really likes to dumb down to their audience and it's in all genres.

Since the OP is a natural Hip hop head i have to recommend....
