Well never mind capital consumption as that is not my reason for having a camera.
I took pictures of a car rental before I went out of town so that I could ensure the rental company wouldn't try to get over on me when I returned the vehicle.
At my job, we take pictures of the back of routers to show what connection goes to what port and we can get someone who's less knowledgable to use it as a reference.
When I look at new homes I take pictures and email my brother who's an architect and he can give me a professional opinion on the structures.
There are lots of reasons to have a camera.

A camera for WHAT? If I wanted and needed a camera I would buy a fucking camera. I don't. I have no need for a myspace page. I get my gigs and studio work already. Many of us of this era just keep it simple old school way. Many of us who do have myspace or whatever have their kids or whoever else dealing with it for them. Damn I didn't even get my first computer til 2002 I think. I just didn't want one. I deal with 2 Technics 1200s and a mixer. Still do. Only thing is the Serato was just too fucking sweet to pass up.
