nah that's not it homie. it all depends on what you're trying to do.
me im not trying to get yolked up. i just want to stay how i am so for me i don't need a million different weight sets and machines in order to do it. i need dumb bells a pull up bar and my cardio.. so for me getting up going to the gym doing the exercises showering going home etc.. by the time i do that i could have just got out my set at home, set the rounds on the hiit timer and done my work. so for me it's just easier and i like doing it at home.
for others they like the drive. they like the going to the gym aspect as well as the atmosphere of the place, it helps to motivate them to work out harder and get more out of their sessions.
so it all depends on what you're trying to do and what works best for you.
