a national id card sounds good. Don't see how that's much different than a drivers license. The RFID tags don't sound like a terrible idea. Just wouldn't want someone to walk by my house with a receiver and notice i have alot of $100 bill signals coming from my livingroom.
Bottom line is...we tax paying, law abiding, US citizens would benefit from the national id card. It would identify potential criminals, and make the odds of escaping unknown slim...

I think the national ID is dangerous because it gives the government a single point of control over monetary access and your personal records. You could be a billionare today and poor tomorrow, simply denying you are the rightful owner of an account. You would have little recourse because the National ID would be your single source for your identity. Now put that in a RFID package under the skin in your forehead or between the thumb and index finger - you could be put into the system as a dangerous mass murder, armed and dangerous - to be shot on sight....and you could never refute it. The premise for such a system is that the government can be trusted and would never abuse a system like this...not me..NEVER...I'd leave and revoke my citizenship first.

honestly....what's stopping the government from "taking our money out of our bank accounts" now? Just because there's not an RFID tag on your debit card, doesn't mean they don't know, or can't find out what your bank account number is. They're the fucking government for fucks sake... they can do anything they want, and cover it up so no one knows about it. Why would they wait until they make a National ID card to start their "reign of terror"? i don't see what's the big fuckin deal here...
