If it's on every network, it's no longer private. He should be able to make a living. People basically have this idea that sports are like the lottery and a guy that messed up shouldn't be able to get that bread. Rihanna's injuries were way more severe, but the lack of video evidence of the altercation, combined with the pervasive notion that Rihanna struck Brown first in a way justified the whole thing to some extent has allowed Brown to be able to move on, whereas Ray Rice will never be able to rehabilitate his career after this.
