I want to know what happened before the got to the elevator. He was obviously angry about something she said/did before then. I want to see that video. And it's fucked up that they are rehashing this but it won't get much traction now that the season has started. This came out when there was literally nothing else going on in the country.

My point was,the next guy who gets into a minor altercation with his wife...that is nowhere near as violent as what Rice did,will pay a much larger price than Rice.
All these NFL players wives or girlfriends or Baby Mamas have to do is scream "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE" and if proven to be true, you're done for 6 games.
That's the part, aside from what happened in the elevator that will have him persecuted by every woman in Baltimore and across the country. That's the lowest of the low right there. On July 29, SI.com's Peter King, who covers the league from the centermost pleat on Roger Goodell's khakis, reported that "NFL and some Ravens officials" had seen unreleased security-cam footage of the Ray Rice altercation from within the elevator. At the time, it was important for the NFL to establish that it was taking great pains to investigate the incident. Here's how King wrote it up:

There is one other thing I did not write or refer to, and that is the other videotape the NFL and some Ravens officials have seen, from the security camera inside the elevator at the time of the physical altercation between Rice and his fiancée.
Today, the videotape in question was leaked, and there was nothing exculpatory in it to be found. Peter King writes:
If league officials saw this video before issuing the two-game ban for Rice, all the scorn that's been heaped on Roger Goodell and his colleagues will be deserved.

That shit was bad but I'm not quick to crucify the mother, eh. Even before the camera footage showing them waiting doesn't tell the whole story. Did she deserve to get the Tyson hook? Probably not but at the end of the day we don't know what lead into the altercation in the first place. We get a snippet of the situation which made him look like a complete asshole. I personally don't know either of them or their relationship. I'm not excusing his behavior but I for damn sure ain't excusing hers either. Until we get the entire facts then we should not over react. Alcohol and bloodshot red anger don't mix well. I don't advocate domestic violence period! But the end result was terribly bad. He should get more than two games.
