Rasheed Wallace Wants To Play For Spurs

i DON'T KNOW WHAT SAY..

Marc Stein has included in his "trade talk" article some confirmation that Rasheed Wallace isn't happy with Joe's choice to restructure the Detroit Pistons.

February 6, ESPN: San Antonio's desire to acquire one more big man (preferably a floor-stretching big man) to counter the Lakers and Boston is no secret.

The surprise stems from the rumbles I've heard about Detroit free-agent-to-be Rasheed Wallace, he who is chief among the Pistons unsettled by the realization that big changes are undoubtedly coming in that locker room, having legit interest in joining the Spurs to team up with his 2005 NBA Finals nemesis Tim Duncan.

Don't see a real trade possibility here -- given that the Pistons are unlikely to take back anything other than expiring contracts for the expiring deals possessed by Wallace and Allen Iverson unless they have a chance to trade for someone like Stoudemire or Chris Bosh -- but it's something to file away for free agency.

Should of happened a few years ago! Unforunately, 'Pops' wouldn't want him---he would be bad chemistry for the Spurs.

Ironically, his addition to that team would be fitting--his bad "D" help them beat the Pistons' for the NBA Championship a few years ago. Sadly, it was the last best chance the Pistons for a Championship!

As far as being dischanted with the Coach? Hell, that was a given when the Coach was named! Veterans' ALWAYS have problems with 'contemporary' named Coaches. Especially, if the person named was pretty much a 'bench player'. It always comes down to EGO and RESPECT!

He wasn't in the Pistons' plans, anyway.

Dumars said that everybody on the roster is tradeable except for Stuckey who's clearly the teams franchise player right now.

.

You're talking about when his ass ran to double-team the corner and left the fucking inbound passer open for 3... Robert Horry at that :angry::angry: that was the series right there....

Just more ramifications of that terrible trade. Guaranteed he wouldn't be that upset with the "restructuring" if he was still getting fed those nice passes from Billups instead of tablescraps from Bubbachuck. Sheed might also be one of those "can't play hard for a brotha" kind of players

Co-Sign !!
Plus, his ill-(self)advised 'double-team' effort, allowing Robert Horry to 'relax' while hitting a 3-point duck in San Antonio's last second win against the Pistons in the NBA finals.:angry::angry:
(As pointed-out by Eewwll).

Remember, the Pistons got him from the old Portland Zoo,er, Trailblazers when they were "Thugs,Inc., taking UNDISCIPLINE to a new level! His true character is coming to fore.

this ninja sheed brought his game today. Shooting the 3 point like it is free throws. on another note, iverson can't stop anyone, check the boxscore and the Bucks player with the most points is who iverson was guarding. :smh::smh:

Ramon Sessions. Lit his a-s-s up. Pistons won though so he gets let off the hook this time

Right!! But they only got that label when Mo Cheeks was coaching. When Dunleavy was there, most of the exact same players were usually pretty well behaved. And if you exclude the T's during games, that would include Wallace. Outside of the techs he's pretty much well behaved.......

when the coach is Larry Brown, Mike Dunleavy or Flip Saunders

He never was an on the ball defender. They expected way too much out of him in Detroit.
