He was already 30 when Supply & Demand dropped … He hadn’t really blown until he rebranded …
Yeah just about anybody in the Atlanta area knew about and bumped Playaz Circle.....so they were familiar with who Tity Boy was before the commercial success.
He changed his name to 2 Chainz in 2011, that was the same year he released his TRU mixtape.
He had some success with Playa Circle but one could say he was still up and coming and didn’t really shine on his own until 2011 when he was 33/34.
But he was signed to Luda and wouldn't have been described as an up-and-coming rapper like this deaded cat.
Up and coming is a nicer way of saying aspiring.
