Although he’s been deported, the former Bad Boy rapper and convert to Judiasm, Shyne, has given his opinion on the upcoming election free of charge.
During a recent interview with MTV, the “That’s Gangsta” rapper expressed through his support Mitt Romney by quoting Kanye’s now famous verse from Cruel Summer, “Even though Mitt Romney don’t pay no tax, Mitt Romney don’t pay no tax.”

Still fighting to return to the U.S. after being deported for his involvement the now infamous P.Diddy 1999 club shooting, the Belize-born MC believes Obama could speed up his return.
Through a mutual friend and Harvard Law professor, Charles J. Ogletree, Shyne feels that the president could help out his situation. “He knows who I am, he knows what’s happenin’,” the rapper said of Obama.
“He’s always talkin’ about he listens to hip-hop and his daughter listens to hip-hop. He knows who Shyne is, he knows I’m deported,” Shyne said.

Shyne continued to expand on his political commentary by stating his natural ties to the inner city and message of peace could be used to stop the violence that’s plagued the west and south sides of Chicago.
“How can he be serious about stopping violence in inner cities and promoting education in inner cities and not using Shyne?” the rapper said of Obama.
Since converting to Orthodox Judaism, Shyne has used his voice and mic to educate those about his faith. He believes if Obama were to use his versatile talents it would gain him some favorable pull amongst the Jews. “Jews is powerful, so if he don’t help the Jew out he ain’t gonna be blessed,” he said. “And he ain’t doing the right thing. My voice is too powerful.”
Obama probably has a few more pressing issues on his plate right now but, if needed he now knows the gangster rapper is ready to help if he can.
