We,black people have to stop presenting the streets and criminality as a culture and some kinda of passage to being black when it's not.We've turned what we had to do to get by into a way of life when it was never ment to be that;What my father did wasn't ment to be repeated,he did what he had to do so we wouldn't have to do it,we had more options and ways of figuring this system out than he ever did.....so why in the fuck am I throwing rocks at the penitentiary?

Struggle>work at getting a record deal>get a deal>get a hit>Fame>Money>legal steady income><Form a fucking Gang<Everything that comes with that illegal life<Death or Prison=It's over for you.
 
Cases like these bring out the stupidity. People on Twitter saying he didn't snitch, and he doesn't have to testify. Then when they find out he does have to testify if called upon, they respond with, "Well, he can just plead the 5th, and the D.A. HAS to let him go home." There are actual adults that believe this. I see why so many cats go to jail for stupid shit. :smh:

I had to tell my son this the other day, when some of his lil homeboys were teasing him that he’s from the suburbs. My pops paved the way for us to have a better life than he had, even though we still grew up in the hood. I took that torch and made it even better for his grandson. I told him that he’s up next to make a better life than I did for him for his kid/kids. Had to explain to him, why he think they didn’t want to go home after they stayed over. They were in awe like they were in the Taj Mahal or something. I said and we live what I consider average lol. I said you have to understand that they wish they had a better life, so sometimes people try to shame you for what they can’t have. Told him don’t get caught up in this bullshit tryin to prove nothing to anyone. The same way his grandpa took chances and did shit, so I wouldn’t have to do it, I had to do the same for him. The goal is to do better. I’m praying that I got through to him. I had a talk with the other lil boys too. Tried to encourage them that where they are now, ain’t where they always have to be. Told them that I ain’t rich and nothing I have was obtained overnight. They can do the same and better. I also let them read messages and talk to one of my niggas in Angola prison, to let them know how he feels about the choices he made that got him there and how I could’ve easily been in the same place doing things that we were doing. Life is about choices and it’s in your best interests to make the right ones.
