Ok...........i finally had to cop a Rapidshit account because i had to have the Spectrasonics Trilian.(Big ups to J&F)

But anyways.........how do people really think this shit is better than MU?

Do i have this right or am i missing something?Even with a premium account i can only download 25 gigs a day?Did i miss something?I've had a MU account for almost a year and between me and my girl i know for a fact we've downloaded about 100-120 gigs worth of stuff in a day.(sometimes)

I prefer MU.....always blazing fast! But like somebody else said, more ppl upload to rapidshare, so ehhhh.....:dunno:

Like someone said, more content on Rapidshare. The world uses it. It's more then just porn. It's movies, shows, programs (expensive ones!), Operating systems, and the list goes on.


MU is mostly porn. On pornboards some people upload music and other content with it. I don't download enough porn to justify paying.

But there are whole sites dedicated to Mu,i find just as much there.But i guess since i have it now i'll continue to use it until it expires and then if i need it i can re-up.

MU all day. I don't even have an account and I download pretty much all I want every day. When I had my Rapidshare account it seemed like I always reached my download limit.

man when i got a mu key every file was a rapidshare so i got a rapishare and everythang was mu....so now its both for now on i get em during income tax lol

Is rapidshare the best? Far from it. Downloads are slower than that of megaupload or hotfile (MU is much faster). Megaupload also has search features for links in your filemanager. You can sort from top to bottom or bottom to top from name, date uploaded and downloads (which is great to let you know if you havne't posted anything you uploaded). You can also get a text printout of all the files you have uploaded. But MU uploads are slower than rapidshare.

Rapidshare allows you only to search by date added and alphabetical.

Rapidshare benefits, they pay you now, megaupload doesn't. And, Rapidshare might not be the best, but they are by far the most popular. If more people have accounts, more people are going to download the stuff you post. It is what it is. I hold subscriptions to both.

I have a rapidshare pass, basically because thats what all the "w" sites have most of their movies uploaded with...I have been considering megashares tho.

As I said, rapidshare is not the best, but it is more popular which equals more content. For example, I have a Zune and I love it, I don't have to switch my music to itunes and my music doesn't mysteriously disappear. But ipods are more popular than Zunes. You can get a Zune that holds more music per dollar than ipod of the same size, but ipods are more popular, more accessories.

I have to agree with you. MU provides better d/l speeds and larger file capacity on uploads.

While many blogs use alternative sites most warez sites use Rapidshare. I think MU is much better but you have to go where the content is so Rapidshare unfortunately gets the nod.

Rapidshare = used more, more links, links die faster, a must have!!!

Megaupload = faster downloads, Links don't die as fast, cheaper (A two year membership is around the price as a rapidshare one year membership.)

Megaupload 1 yr prem= .16 per day

Neither one cost you an arm and a leg.

More people use Rapidshare for what I want so the choice is simple.

Megaupload = I use MU mainly for tv shows and movies. MU has more one linkers. If you take the same big file, it will probably take 10 RS links compared to only 4 MU links. Faster, links last damn near forever, I swear you can click on a 2005 MU link the shit will still be up.

Rapidshare = More popular so more content. I mostly download software with RS. If you have a RS account and a few hours to burn on BGOL, you can download $1,000+ of software, apps, dvds, games, you name it ... hell, food coupons.

Advantage: Rapidshare (cheaper and more content, just be prepared for alot of clicking)

My favorite: Megaupload (whenever I see something I want with alot of RS links, I just find the fewer MU links of it.)

25 gigs per day...I only have 17 gigs to work with today. Im waiting till 5pm CST so it can bump up to 22...and thats 22 GPD after not downloading for a few days.
