Many faces. that Album was fire. I went to the store the other day and that shit is out of print. I had that album when I was still buying albums. Alot of cats dont know that, thats the real joint where Biggie spit that "Them rings and things you sing about bring em out..."

Last I heard, he was working for Jiffy Lube in ATL.

Im surprised, nobody has posted it yet, I need that shit bad. Its not really popular tho so its not on torrents or anything. Crazy thing is its not in stores either.

DAM I thought I was the only Tracey Lee fan on the face of the earth...Man That vid brought back memories ....esp. The part of the vid where Pirate starts rappin and shorty with the big titties and the silver pants walked through the door LOL..I remember my uncle and me recording this vid and me pausin the shit to peep shorty LOL!!!

That album was the shit.
Tracey hosted on of my fav Biggie verses (and Jay-Z *cough* interpolations):

What, what, what,
The rings and things you speak about bring em out,
It's hard to yell with the barrel in your mouth,

Its more than I expected
I thought them jewels was rented, but they wasn't
So run it, cousin,
I could chill the heat does it
Ran up in your shell about a dozen,
You never seen
Bank like Frank White, ya hand clutchin
Ya chest plate contemplates, bout to die nigga wait
Keep ya hands high

Worth the d/l just for this song....three classic Big verses.

Its clean. And to Mak, hell nah you aint the only fan. That album was fire. Especially that last track "Who shot L.R." The CD was hot to me cause he made a whole album as if he was 5 different people..

Too much waiting for it to get it here, plus dude just said he was gonna post it. For dude saying Limewire, Im at work, cant connect to P2P here. And At Supreme Math...He sounded like Meth a lil but his style was totally different. I thought that party time joint was gonna blow.

I had to laugh at the Youtube clip I linked. Notice it's from way back on Muchmusic's Spotlight here in Canada, and even though the show was all about him they still fucked the album title credit. They've got it as "MAXY FACES". The fuck? The behind-the-scenes team must have been having a feminine hygiene-type moment or some shit, or been stressed to the max(i).

Try Lee was slept on big time. .. he got a new mixtape he dropping and new album real soon...... rumor has it...... Been bumping dat Big keep ya hands high since i was 96-97 joint had Many Facez and my fav jam all time is Dat Isley Brothers sampled joint let me down easy.. song name on M Faces is "walked on Ice..." shits one of the realest rap songs ever made not 2 mention the song is HOT... Thanx for reminding me of this album .. good food for thought

luv is love

What up FJP. Im suprised how many people dont know what happened with Tracey Lee and why he "retired" from tha game. Real talk bro, alot of these rappers are broke...and I mean really really welfare type broke. Like he said after his first album dropped, hes not gonna be dancing and rapping and touring all over the place doing videos and shit and every body else is laying back on they asses making money offa his sweat. He'd rather not doit anymore. He tried to sue to get of his label and bum ass deal (6 albums $80,000 per album with 2% royalties)...he lost (Be careful what yall niggas sign) tried to renegotiate his deal (They said we got you boy...hell NO!) So he said fuck it! And that shit is real. The rap game is modern slavery y'all. I see Posdonous from Dela Soul all the time out here on the fucking train. Tribe Called Quest Is Another example. $25,000 advance for each member per album and 2 points per album(2% royalties) while the label gets the other 98%. Nigga you dancing and rapping to send some jews kid to college while you cant even see yours 'cause you always on tour...making this crakas money for him like a good HOE! Jewels are rented. Cars are leased...house aint really yours (Its Puffy's but he letting you front for ya fans like you got something)This shit aint Hip-Hop, this shit that yall see on MTV is Pimps and Hoes...guess who the hoes are y'all? :smh:

My man a $480,000 advance is unheard of now. His deal wasnt really rape. If you dont have any buzz or leverage thats a typical deal, actually that shit is outstanding. Rape is 10 albums, 150G's(LL's Def Jam deal). Tray just came up in the wrong era. Cats wasnt hitting shows hard like that then. With that advance he was supposed to be able to invest and do whatever. You dont make money from sales. I bet thats how he got out of law school. He probably saved some of the money.

From what a friend of mine told me, he's taking the bar in Louisiana. He's attempting to get into entertainment law in the south since that is a popular scene. At last time I checked he was attempting to link up with some young black georgia attorneys to open a firm to cover those two states and then branch out.........

I give you mad props...its rare to come across a dude that actually knows what hes talking about...but you make your money making shows and through royalties. 2% is rape in any era when the industry minimum since 1977 has been 6% per album and only 50% recupment. Publishing is another way to eat...unfortunately most rappers own none of their publishing. Sad...real sad. :smh:

now that i'm home i'll have to go in the closet and get the album so i can listen to it again..

the good times skits were cool

and that who shot LR is still one of my fav joints, i'll agree with the whole wrong era for dude like fjp said..

but i found it odd he dropped out the scene cause he did have industry respect from his peers..

everytime a rapper says he has a split personality type style i think of tracey lee and (i think U.T.F.O. did it) the split personality song

Who shot LR and that joint where they had like the plan and they go on the mission are the 2 standouts on there

Yeah he's a Lawyer..... thats my man....
But most artist dont know what they sign because they're oo happy to be in the limelight...
nothing is real in this biz....
lables only love you when you make Bank for them... the day you near not make $... ya ass is handed to you with an invoice for what you owe for all the trips, hotels, cars, food, papper clips, and staples it took to get ya ass on MTV, BET, and all the fake ass Award Shows......

Ive been around too many people how dont know what they signed......
I still see it today but im tired of trying to save stupid muthafukas from themselves.. out of a bout 1,000, only 3-5 have listened..... and none have ever said THANKS MAN

FUCK EM.... My dough still comes....wether they get it or not...LOL

damn that was one of my favorite joints that year! Tray Lee and CRU got mad rotation in my cd player! I haven't heard either since my entire collection got heisted back in college...Sad sad day :smh: :( :smh:

anybody know what they (CRU) are up to now?
