The left & the right love to attack sports, particularly sports with majority black players. But realize in today's world social media, TV, your phone, the internet, your playstation & Xbox, porn, entertainment industry, etc is the circus. The hypocrisy is a circus.

I dislike Karenga too. but there is misinformation here. Karenga did believe black people had culture, and that it was the principle that change could occur from. Karenga's US organization (United Slaves) were cultural nationalism, while the Black Panthers were revolutionary nationalism. They had ideological beef and the FBI exploited this. The FBI through Cointelpro program played the two organizations against each other. They also played east coast panthers against west coast panthers. Divide & conquer Willie Lynch shit. They plotted to disrupt, character assassinate, frame or outright murder black panthers across the nation (Fred Hampton, Geronimo Pratt, Bunchy Carter, etc. Many others). I don't know for sure that Karenga murder the two Black panthers on the UCLA campus but we know the FBI was killing potential black leaders around LA at the time. I don't trust Karenga nor his US org because they weird & cultist. But the FBI is responsible for those murders in my mind.
Analogy: the nation of Islam may have play a role in the asassination of MX, but we know it was the FBI that wanted him dead and played the NOI. The NOI are very defense on the topic of MX. And anytime their role in his death come up they deny it but they still say fuck MX, b/c they felt he betrayed Elijah and the Nation.
Another Analogy: we know that the white supremacists kill MLK Jr. But the a FBI goated them into killing MLK. And many believe they are the ones who setup MLK's death with multiple shooters (there is evidence to support this). They were the puppet masters behind the scene.
Karenga is hated for his role by many in the black community here in LA, but the only reason he isn't dead is b/c we know the FBI were the real culprits.
Kwanzaa is a good concept even though it came from Karenga, who is a legit scholar. Culture is always generate from existing culture, ideas & worldview, so that is not a legitimate criticism of Kwanzaa.
Attacking Kwanzaa just seems like self-hate & misguided reactionary thinking. Dude in the video got to come up with legit criticism or stf. I bet he couldn't even tell me the principle of kwanzaa, with his trick or treatin' ass. Even though Xmas to me is a mix of pagan, white supremacists, fake christian comercialism, i still think it's cool to celebrate with the family & community. I still have a high regard for the constitution of the US even though it started as a piece of toilet paper. I'm ok with Kwanzaa
