I signed up for a "Mud Run" www.spartanrace.com I'll be doing a spartan sprint. 4 hilly miles + 15 obstacles .. I'm excited to do it and train for it. From one friend inviting me, posting it on my FB, now we have a few of our friends signed up. Fun times!

it amazes me how a woman can go sit in a hair salon literally all day and still pay the stylist their hard earned money or they dudes hard earned money. and they have an appointment.
then when you say something to them about it... nobody else can do my hair like_______
hell half these chicks walking around with fades probably only have them because going to a barber is faster.

I know someone who is struggling financially...I have offered to do their hair or at least to get their hair done by someone cheaper for the same style. But yet she insists of going to ____ because she put the sew-in down and she wants her to take it out and put it back in...sometimes...it's getting really annoying...more so when they get it done and it doesn't look good in another 24 hours.

They clearly haven't discovered their local $20 doobie shop! LOL ... But its true .. and half the time those ppl they pay all that money too don't even care about the health of their hair. SMH ... Speaking of hair ... washing & blow-drying my hair today was a TASK .. fucking fuse kept blowing and i kept having to stop. start. stop. start. My old apt never had such issues. Luckily I had rolled my hair and sat under my hooded dryer for awhile so my hair was mostly dry and just needed to be blown a little bit before flat ironing ... A year ago, I wouldn't have even dared touch my own hair ... blow drying just took tooo long, but thinking about it. It takes me the same amount of time as I spend in the shop (2 hours) and I save money ... Well long term, good tools for your hair cost a lot.
These workouts of the day have me done. My core and legs are tight. Yesterday started with spin .. then in the evening do X about of push-ups each minute during a 30 min or 1 hour TV show. Since I watch things online, I did 5 per minute for 22 minutes (no commercials) and today was do 100 lunges then run a mile for time after a warmup period. repeat 2-8 times. FCUK my legs died ... and I get awful shin splints. Repeating was NOT an option. I limped out the gym and came home to ice my calves ... and I didn't think I was sore from the pushups until I was trying to hold the blow dryer and brush ... I wanna kill this race for time. the motivation is sick
I went to Klienfeld dress shopping with my friend today. FUCK wedding dresses can be expensive. I was honestly happy for her. there wasn't a moment of "Oh, when is this going to be me.. or I wish this were me..." I'm just happy she wanted to share the experience with me.

Seriously. My VP is hosting a session in this half day training i'm going t tomorrow. 58 pages on the ipad. It better not be 58 when I go to print it. WTF dude. You only have half of a half day presentation. 58???????????????????
