R.I.P. Young Noble Outlawz

I use to work with him (with his Outlaw University Clothing line). Always positive, never tried to play with money and always spoke on his daughter. Thats why this one is hard to get passed cause I cant see him doin that knowing how his daughter would feel. I believe he had full custody of her as well.

But your sometimes your thoughts are a dark place and that vulnerable few seconds/minutes when ur not thinkin of others you'll be hurtin, is when you let it loose.

I'll say this, I hope that day never comes to the point I reach a low point in my life that I want to take my own life.

I only have 3 parents left, it'll hurt like fuck losing them when that time comes which is why I hope they can live for as long as they can.

It gets tricky with the words "Mental Health.

But usually when someone wants to harm themselves, they aren't letting anyone know.
That's why we have to stay on top of our own mental stability. People wont always see the signs of depression or any other mentally related struggle. It was apparent in Noble over the last year he's been going through it. If we could see it online then folks close to him had to see it too. But that's where our prejudice against therapy can come into play. We think we're being weak by talking to someone about our problems. Black folks think you have to be "crazy" to need therapy so we avoid that shit like the plague so we wont be labeled "crazy".

I agree, if people could see that he was going through something online then the people directly in his life definitely should've saw it too.

And yes there's a prejudice by us, many of us about therapy and talking to someone about our problems and feelings.

Now when I say "Us" I mean Black people. I'm not including myself as one of the ones that have prejudice or problems talking to people.

But then you have a large majority of us that therapy isn't even in the radar. Meaning that's not even a concept that most even think about so they have no idea if it'd help or not.

They don't even know that resource is there.

Possible those around him tried to help him.

You're absolutely right about that. And I'm definitely speaking to a larger issue that's endemic among Black people which is our fear of doctors (that we have for very good fucking reasons) as well as our fear of being thought of as "crazy". We deal with bullshit all day everyday and the last thing we want is to be dismissed as "crazy". Hopefully for Noble he's finally at peace.

Like alcoholics and drug addicts they can't be forced to go to rehab. They have to help themselves....fam can only do so much
