(June 18, 2024) He was one third of a group that helped introduce a tasty new combination of jazz and soul more than four decades ago, and that remains with us today. We are very sad to report the death of Pieces of a Dream co-founder Cedric Napoleon. His death was reported by Pieces of a Dream on the group's social

Great memories of hearing this group's music.

MMMAAAAAANNN...
First Angela Bofill.
Now Cedric Napolean.
It's Artists like this who helped defined the Smooth Jazz/R&B Era of The 80s.
One of the BEST Concerts during The 80s was Grover Washington Jr. and Pieces Of A Dream at Pier 84 here in NYC.
Pieces ended up being Grover's back-up band after their set.

My Favorite POAD tune.
Bassline kills for a smooth track

Man, damn….. this was one of my favorite groups when I started listening to smooth, jazz and smooth R&B.
