Quick and Dirty Newsgroups guide

If you're not fucking with Newsgroups....

Here's a quick and dirty guide to get you set up.

Step 1
Head to giganews.com. Sign up for the platinum acct. ($24.99/mnth) or you can use any other provider of your choice newsdemon, usenet, etc. Whatever fits your price range.

Step 2
Head to shemes.com and download "Grabit"

Step 3
After installing grabit, it will ask for your credentials. Enter the credentials that's provided by giganews

Step 4
I usually use www.nzbclub.com or www.nzb.cc to search for and download NZB files.

the good thing about Grabit is that after downloading your files, it will automatically extract them.

That's it. Quick and dirty. I just downloaded over 100gb worth of Marvel comics from 1962-2008

entire mame romset & CHD (100gb), etc.

Usenet-News is one of the better services with it's cheap prices and option to pay for what you download rather than that monthly bullshit.

Let me know a better way that I can D/l the 1080p Bluray ray rip of Girl with The Dragon Tattoo in a hour? and old movies from the 70's like "Slaughters Big Rip-off", "Dolemite", "Disco Godfather", etc. Even recent shows like the entire set of "The Corner".

This is why I didn't panic when all the file hosting sites got shook. I went straight to Newsgroups and kept partying. Shit ususally gets released there and irc first anyway.

Nice try but no dice... Thats like saying... forget it- u win its no use im a torrent guy; w/ my internet speed I can get a 700MB file from 1 of the many private torrent sites in like 4/6 minutes, convert it to DVD, burn it, watch it, fuck my girl twice, log back into BGOL & give my review of said movie, while your newsgroup download is on 29% completed.

Torrents. For free. I do all of what you are saying on torrents for free and get really fast speeds. I just use peerblock. Been doing it for years, have never had a problem.

Torrents are nice at times but sometimes when you try to torrent old files they might never finish because of dead seeders
