We are less than 24 hours away from the NFL draft and I wanted to know who is your favorite team and what player do you want your organization to draft? What name would you like to hear called most?

I'm hoping my team calls Rey Maualuga in the first round at pick #23.

That would be a good choice. They never recovered from losing Crumpler. Wouldn't you rather a big time receiver, though? I think Ryan needs better targets on the outside.

Naw, Roddy White will do fine. He has revived his career, after the numbers he put up last year, Falcons fans really came to believe Vick was the reason Roddy wasn't panning out. Soon as Vick was gone Roddy brought his A game. But a legit TE threat would be great.

How are the Falcons doing on the defensive side? Don't you need a safety with the release of Milloy?

... and I'm worried as HELL about the defense... Our defense was shaky as hell, and we lost like five players... Grady Jackson, Lawyer Milloy, Keith Brooking, and Michael Boley, Domonique Foxworth... How can you say you're not worried about defense?

There are good LB's should be available.... we'll probably get lauraniitis or Clay Matthews.

I'm not sold on Sanchez either. I wouldn't mind drafting him if he is available, but that lb core with Lawson, Willis, and Singletary coaching with Maybin coming off the edge

They can take whoever w/ the first pick and I'll be good. I wouldn't mind seeing some Oline depth though since the defense is stocked on the Dline & secondary. Maybe a LB thrown in there wouldn't hurt either.

That's what I thought. Earlier in the thread, I talked to another fan who thought TE was the best pick and said he wasn't concerned about the D. I was a little confused by that. The Falcons have tons of holes on the defensive side, IMHO.
