I could be trippin, but it seems like I remember some time back that there was some type of script or something that you could use to where the ignored posts don't even show up in the thread. Does this still exist or is that not a thing anymore?

It doesn't show up until someone quotes a post to my knowledge.
For me they're still there it just minimizes it and shows ignored.
Dog just resist the impulse. Lol.
