Question for the gun owners.

I have semi autos, but I'm looking to add a revolver to the collection. Two questions, based on your experiences, has the QC at Taurus gotten any better, and two, which revolver would you suggest I try out? I know Taurus' QC was shit in the 90s and early 00s, so I'm wondering if they addressed that.

Mine have worked fine but I haven't put a lot of rounds through them. I have the 608 and the Judge. What you shooting 44, 357 or 38?

My S&W 442 has served me well. If you’re willing to drop some extra coin, you might want to spring for the 340 as you can shoot 38spl and 357 magnum.

I do think Taurus QC has gotten better over the years.

I went with Ruger and got a GTP100. Something about thier beefiness is what I like.
I plan on getting an SP101 next free check I have if I don't get a Glock 19.

Based on the OP's budget range, the newer pistols from Taurus or even Charter Arms are worth a look. Also on my list is the EAA Windicator. I have had no problems with EAA's Tangfolios and their other CZ clones.

i fired this one by Chiappa Firearms and been dreaming bout it ever since

1st notice the square cylinder and the concealed hammer then look at the placement of the barrel it fires from the 6 o'clock position of the cylinder instead of the 12 o'clock
fires just like a semi/automatic handgun Italian made revolver a lil pricey though 700 upwards well worth it though

BROTHER,

Are you looking for something to conceal and carry?

Or is this for the house and range practice?

The Rhino is a smooth shooting sum'bitch! Bought mine a year ago as a "blemished" model. You have to adjust your grip or get flash burns, but other than that, it is a great revolver. Has very little muzzle rise, and pushes back where other 357's "buck" back. You do not tire as easy shooting this compared to other revolvers.
