An (death) anniversary of a relative just passed, he was a an early member of the Delta Force of the American Military (U.S. Army). Died a few years ago.

We would often talk about how his experience shaped his views and he personally believed that every young man should have at least 2 years of mid-level (if not elite) military training.

What are some of your most cherished moments in the military (that includes fucking bitches....)?

How has your experience shaped your outlook on life?

Here is some ass for your trouble..

One thing I will say from talking with him was that I did not find out about his Delta force days until he was on his deathbed (cancer). He never talked about what exactly he did, but he always said it made him a new man...

Deploying was in a weird way a strange experience because i've made so many friends i call my brothers til this day.

When you deploy with people and y'all go thru hell together you become kind of a dysfunctional family.

-NAVY - truthfully, I enjoyed the travel, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, back in my single days, I had honies galore....all through south America, Europe, and the middle east....and I MEAN GORGEOUS females. but the travel and the experience helped give me a global view of life instead of just my hood or my city. I saw just how far behind the US is on education and culture. Plus , leaving the states, you can go abroad and look back and see just how screwy the states have gotten. also it you can see how much the media lies and manipulate the news and what you see and hear and how it affects your attitude toward certain things in life. my personal example was khadafi.I was taught to dislike the man as a enemy and had never heard any good things about him but there was a lot that was left out. just as the Somali pirates- the story that they don't tell you is that a lot of countries dumped there toxic/bad waste off the coast of Africa, killing off the food source and livelihood of the fisherman. they had to turn to piracy in order to feed their families. plus there was no assistance to the Somali people bc they had no navy to protect their waters. think of it like flint..nobody gives a kcuf. even though they were begging for help and none came.

I joined the Army fully aware what I was signing up for due to the fact that I come from a large military family. I had no immediate plans for college and I had the same amount of skills that any High School graduates have. NONE!!!!! Therefore, I decided to join as my brothers before me did even though I had absolutely no plans of joining before. However, I joined at the ripe age of 17, my parents actually had sign the permission papers. I figured I could do 4 years, make some money, travel and figure out what I was going to do with the rest of my life. Well, that 4 years turned into 25 and the rank of SGM/E-9 and I don't regret any part of serving. Now, I want you to tell me how many other jobs will start paying you at 17 and will continue until I die, pay for my college (BS and MBA), veterans' preferential which help me get a government job, pay for my wife and children's college, help finance loans on my homes, pay for my wife and I medical for the rest of our lives, and space available travelling. As matter fact, Uncle Sugar, has had a hand in every improvement of my life since I was 17. It allowed me the opportunity to get paid, get educated, and travel the world and which allowed me the opportunity to see some of the many wonders (different countries, people, cultures, food, and women) that they world has to offer. The military was the best decision that I made 33 years ago because every aspect of my adult life the military had a hand in improving my life.

Being deployed , blood sweat tears
Everyone making the same sacrifices as you , everyone down to die for one another just to have you come home instead of himself it's a experience like no other, it's been 8 years since my discharge and I love those guys wherever they are, in this cold world. I just hope they are doing ok.

Check the sig (I'm on the far right)
