Queen Nzinga

the title 'Queen' is usually given through lineage, or in modern terms used as a form of manipulation of women in the courting methods and the women's very same attempt to garner esteem of self from it...

This is not the case, this woman earned her title, through governorship and as a warrior... she took up the mantle that few would, persevered what many haven't, and retained her sights on the prize where even to this day, none has to this level of success.

She is the only one deserving of that title... not something given, but something earned through the stewardship and vision which she has done for her people. Once I understood the scope of her duty, I haven't used the title to another since... because it will insult the memory of her actions.

When I first saw your name I thought the same as Dr Truth, but when I did my research on the name I understood exactly what you wrote and it make me realized that you have great knowledge on Africa to share on the board instead of attacking other races. I think you done a fantastic job educating many of us and I salute you for the knowledge many of us would never get to learn.
huh.....Thank you for the honesty. It is not easy for a leopard to change its spots...

I would not have commented on post, since there are few post done on her before by our residence BOLer with the same name. I only intended to explain your pic.

The pic is powerful statement showing her logic thinking and strong presence as leader, once you put it into prospective.

Think about it? If you saw a woman command a man do that so she can sit on his back, and she has 10+ men in her crew. Would not you be fearful of her power?
Makes me think of this from the Art of war.
“Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can?”

Thanks so much for building on this topic...:bravo:

Really wish more would have instead of trying to turn it to something else.

I knew you could have taken any other depicted pictures of her, but you insightful used that one without eluding your intentions to stir debate among peers since it not the first time she has posted on forum. To me personally that image is most powerful commanding image of anyone ever...just put yourself in any modern day situation and a woman did that in front of you. Imagine if this was done at UN today?

Nzinga my brother, I suggest you start a new thread and name "Official Africa knowledge" since you're more qualify than most of us.
The scope would be impossibly big, but I think through exchanges like this,
we can do a lot to educate each other...
