Pusha T Response to Drake: The Story of Adidon

Pusha-T-gif.gif
man I hate that adlib

Cam'ron literally said " Rkelly your daughter and have my way with her face" to Nas and we talking about the 40 line.. The line was cold but probably would not even make top 10 most disrespectful lines in hip hop..

Facts.

Remember when Nas said

You got a house in Virginia
The only way you sicker than us
Gettin' bagged with .22's now you's a ridiculous fuck
No need for the gun play, it's ok, cause you dyin' anyway

This was Cam had HIV and he was dying. Nobody knew Cam had irritable bowl syndrome, at the time he lost mad weight and was looking sick lol.

So many more disrespectful lines in hip hop. J Prince is ONLY stopping this cause he doesnt want to see his man get knocked out. This is a TKO. The game has gotten soft as hell and purely money driven, this step in makes it more evident.

if anything....this beef has shown the silliness in the listeners. Drake and Ye live on the same street and work together. Yes, the Quentin shit put Drake's hip hop bonifides in question....but Drake eats off more than hip hop. He's a songwriter....has written hits for other people. And yes, he works in a typical songwriter machine for his own material fitting of an artist with the demand at his level....i.e. Kanye. We all know Rhymefest wrote the backbone of Jesus Walks, and at the same time that doesnt mean Ye hasnt written bars on his own over the curse of his career. Same with Drake....we all heard the Q reference track, but that doesnt mean Aubrey cant write. As far as Push....he's the biggest beneficiary of all of this and good for him cuz his one dimensional cocaine flow needed the boost of people seeing he can body a nigga in a battle. Drake won't respond cuz bigger checks are now threatened....checks to all 3 involved. lol

Pusha has lifted the skirts up for many so called "males" in 2018.

I for one love how Drake defenders and stans are having their foundations rattled and hiding behind, "but he sells a lot..."

Pusha took this well beyond Drake. In fact, I'll argue that when this dust settles, it'll be on some hip hop rising from the ashes type shit.

This was STRICTLY for the culture.

LOVE IT.

:roflmao3::lol:That Drake don’t know how to handle this! Even got crowds going against him.. I expect a song fuck you to the fans with some Stacy Lattisaw sample coming up

It would be funny if other rappers who had issues with Drake joined in dropped lines too. But Drake has too much influence and industry support...and besides, his machine helped a lot of others eat over the past few years through all of the collabos and ventures. So it will most likely never happen.

Nigga you might be ok at the insult game, but your comprehension game is trash. It's not the same. Push and 40 have no ties. Ye and Drake actually work together. Ye even claimed they were doing an album together. The nigga wrote for Kanye..it's not just that Kanye is Pusha's producer. If for some reason you don't want to give Drake a point on the scoreboard for pointing out the hypocrisy of Push saying that having a writer is wack, while your boss is doing the same thing, then just admit it. Don't act like it's the same..or maybe you're not acting. This shit is just like the girl in the video with Charlamange showing him that Duppy was not 70% about Kanye while they are reading the lyrics..and he reads it for himself and still won't admit it. Niggas starting to look like hating ass females.

Hurling insults don't make your points legit
It just means you in fact are the one acting moist because you can't properly articulate a point without it
Whereas me and my comprehension which is ... Well guess what I don't need to try to belittle you in order to get my point across so I'll refrain

The largest point which you seem to neglect in every single post is that it's not about ties
Its about who the intended target is affiliated with.
You'll cop a plea and break down the relationship dynamic between 40/pusha/ye/Drake

And ignore that Drake has no ties to his brother or fiance correct? And those people were mentioned as well correct?

So if you have your cape surrounding 40 by all means go ahead
The diss itself isn't necessarily what I personally would have done but also I'm not in the beef either and he didn't talk about my brother and my fiance and my producer and boss who made me president of the label

Gloves came off
Now everyone wants people to put them back on

Pusha would have taken the l if he came back and didn't address it

While your homie who was rolling in black face sent out a press release so far

And you in here fighting harder for him than he is himself

That same blindness and caping is what put Drake on that pedestal.

There's no sense reasoning with it fam. He could get roasted by every emcee in the game and they'd still cape for him.

Aubrey thought it was all God's Plan how he Started from the Bottom and built his name off the Degrassi - The Next Gen' tv fame & mixtape game. Many groupies heard they were the best he ever had at 5am in Toronto, but to Take Care and get out before sunrise. Rihanna learned he was Too Good for her and that sweet Passionfruit pussy Work, and Maliah's off somewhere selling flat tummy tea & Dubai toiletries for Dirty Money. On the flip side Pusha T had been preparing for a surgical summer of sorts, and was ready to put Numbers on the Boards. Hot Damn, he stayed Grindin' for many years looking to eclipse him, and put Wheelchair Jimmy in a compromising position having to explain away Momma I'm So Sorry ... and Ma, I Don't Love Her in regards to her grandchild's mother's career on-camera choices. Scoreboard: King Push. Hell, even Timberlake's bitchass knows Pusha is Justified to be in the lead at this time.

"Kanye West Literally Has Had the Most Ghostcreators In Music History," James Fauntleroy Says

"Kanye got ghost writers, ghost stylists, ghost producers, ghosts everything!"

https://djbooth.net/features/2018-06-03-kanye-west-ghostcreators-james-fauntleroy

On Sunday, veteran songwriter James Fauntleroy, who worked with Drake on 2013's "Girls Love Beyoncé," weighed in on the beef on Twitter, calling Pusha-T a "one hit wonder at best," defending producer Noah "40" Shebib ("40 is an actual person, a rare genuine person in a business almost completely full of the opposite") and claiming Kanye West has had "the most ghostcreators in music history."

Fauntleroy, without using the word, appears to be calling Pusha-T a hypocrite. You know, living in a glass house (G.O.O.D. Music) and throwing stones (ghostwriting claims) and all that. For his part, West has always been very open about the power of collaborative work. Not to mention, if you've seen the liner notes for The Life of Pablo, you know West's work with other creatives (artists, producers, writers) isn't exactly a secret under lock and key.

For those wondering who the hell James Fauntleroy is, the 34-year-old Inglewood, California native is one-half of the hip-hop collective Cocaine 80s with producer No I.D., and has worked with a Who's Who list of top-tier talents in the recording industry, including Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, J. Cole, JAY-Z, Justin Timberlake, and Rihanna, among others.

Earlier this year, Fauntleroy picked up three GRAMMY Awards for his writing on Bruno Mars' 24k Magic album ("That’s What I Like," "24k Magic"), bringing his career total to four.

Damn havent heard any cocaine 80s in a while..wonder if they dropping some new shit
I think they just focusing on producing more now.

But it’s crazy how Pusha T can hate on Drake about ghostwriting allegation when his own boss Kanye West has ghost writers himself smh.

Pusha T is a hypocrite.

As a Producer/Rapper should. Drake is an MC. Apples and oranges fucking Stans.

Pusha T is a hypocrite.

1 of them is an entertainer
1 of them claims to be on of the best rappers

The difference is clear
It'd be like calling out Dr Dre for not writing
And everyone know this.
Which is why the entire well Kanye does it too kid shit y'all run don't work
We know Kanye got collaborators in every phase lol

He ain't in best rappers discussion either

J PRINCE TO DRAKE STAND DOWN ON PUSHA T ...'CAN'T GET IN THE PIG PEN'
6/3/2018 5:13 PM PDT

James Prince says Drake will not be responding to Pusha T's vicious diss track under his orders ... because going that low is beneath the young MC.

The Rap-A-Lot Records CEO spoke with radio personalities Fadam Got da Juice and DJ Reddz of DTLR Radio Saturday, and told them he issued the directive to Drake that AM -- stand down, and don't respond to "The Story of Adidon," as many anticipated he would.

He goes on to say that what Push engaged in was equivalent to a "pig pen mentality" and incredibly disrespectful for going after going after Drake's mom, dad, and his OVO producer with MS, Noah '40' Shebib. J Prince doesn't directly address Drake's alleged son with porn star Sophie Brussaux ... but you gotta imagine he means that, too. Speaking of taking the high road, Prince was on air promoting his new book, "The Art and Science of Respect."

Here's another thing ... sources connected to Drake tell us he had already recorded a diss track responding to Push's 'Adidon,' prior to James' phone call Saturday morning.

Seems J Prince doesn't want Drake to stoop to Push's level and screw with his mainstream rep ... and, presumably, his mainstream money.

Ice Cube Says Drake's Reign At The Top Of The Rap Game Is Ending

By Matthew Parizot

Nothing lasts forever, even Drake.

Drake's time at the top of the rap world is coming to an end, according to Ice Cube.

During an interview with Sana G Morning Show, Cube explained that while Drake has had a good run at the top of the game, it might be time for him to come to terms with stepping down.

"He had a good run," Cube said. "You've only got a three year run in the rap game. You've only got three years at the tip top of the rap game before you have to find your place in this thing."

Cube has been in the industry a long, long time, so he's definitely speaking from experience here. He even admits that three years is about what he was afforded back when he was the greatest in the game.

Pusha T's cutting diss record, "The Story of Adidon," seemingly put the hurt on Drake, but Cube doesn't believe that that's the sole reason behind Drake's descent.

"I don't know if that did it," said Cube. "I think your reign becomes over, and I think the audience has determined that."

By that metric, it's difficult to understand where Cube is getting his reasoning from. Just based on the charts alone, Drake has held the number one position for months now, and his upcoming album, Scorpion, is likely to do huge numbers, diss track or not.

Drake aside, Ice Cube is also keeping busy, not only prepping a new album, but working on the script for the upcoming Friday film as well.
