Every state has their own rules. In PA, they just make a phone call and you are cleared, even on the weekends.

Complete transaction took 45 minutes and fifteen minutes after the purchase I was in the shooting range testing my new purchase at the same place. Got in my car strapped 90 minutes after I walked in the gun shop, with my 2 year renewed CCW in pocket and rollin. Somethings wrong playa, and if you've done nothing wrong, there's no reason why you shouldn't have been able to do the same.

I knew it was tough so I looked it up. It is a LOT harder to get permission to purchase a gun in NY than it was for me to get my carry permit. I don't even know if its possible to get a carry permit in NY.
The dollars are ridiculous! I think I paid $10 for my carry permit and $5 per purchase for the background check. NY wants $434.00 just for a permit to purchase!

Different states have different laws. Some have waiting periods, but most don't. And usually thats only for AR and handguns. It really depends on where you live. But in most states there isn't any wait on shotguns. So there should be no issue for you.

how da fuck you plan on doing that???? new jersey has some of the strictest gun laws in the country and to my knowledge you can't just wonder over to pa to pick something up and return it to your home.
hell if somebody break into your crib in NJ and you lady shoots them with a gun registered in your name even though self defense she will still be charged
