I feel what your saying but cats been blazin shit up for the last 20 yrs, and the were supposedly raised by the fathers (70's era) that used there hands when a problem arose. I think the whole moist movement is bigger than absent fathers. Shit they got openly gay couples on TV now. Being metro sexual is promoted dam near everything now. You have metro sexual and moist fathers raising their sons the same way as them.

I work with kids 5 days a week, and I can honestly say that you can tell which kids have fathers in their homes and which ones don't. The ones that act the "hardest" are actually overcompensating for the fact that they don't have anyone to show them how to actually be men. Instead, they get their ideas of manhood from rap songs, TV shows, and niggas in their hoods (who probably didn't have fathers either). Also, most of these young niggas grew up around sassy ass back-talking women, so they try to emulate that.
It's unfortunate b/c a lot of these young brothers have real potential and talent, but it will never be realized b/c they don't have anyone to show them how to develop.

It seems like every other day she is telling me about how she was having a conversation with her son then he started crying about the shit.

When I was a kid, I was scared to ride roller coasters. One day, me and my pops went to an amusement park together, and we got in line for a roller coaster. I told him I was scared, and he knew I was scared, but he pointed to some little white girl who had just gotten off the ride and said, "Son...if that little white girl can ride this, I know damn well you can too." So, after that everything was cool...until we actually got on the ride and the attendant started to strap on the restraints. I felt like I was gonna pass out, and I told my pops I wanted to get off the ride. He said, "Boy, we just waited over an hour to ride this...your ass is gonna ride this ride."
And guess what? I rode that shit...and I had the time of my fuckin life. To this day, I love roller coasters...and I'm the type of nigga who will go to a theme park on a weekday just to avoid the crowds so I can ride them shits back to back with no wait. But if I had went to that park with my mom, I know she woulda gave me a hug, and told me it was OK, and that I didn't have to ride the rides if I didn't want to...not b/c she's a bad parent, but b/c there's some shit your pops has to do in an asshole kind of way to push you.

A child needs both parental units to educate the child in the role which they must play in life, love, and roles. When you only have one, regardless of how well the education appears to be, it will always be biased to one side of the spectrum.

Real dads from your grandfathers generation and back did not play that shit. Women of that time were different value wise as well.
