You might as well be living in the hood..."ghetto" is def a state of mind...when I first moved out here I was in a nice town home community...nice visually...but it didn't take long for me to realize that was just a facade...I knew it was an income restricted neighborhood so I lied on the application and had someone vouch for me saying I only made xxxxx amount of $$$ a year...but the neighborhood was so nice looking so I thought hey nice homes...low rent...I'm good...didn't take long to realize how wrong I was...random shootings @ nite...fights...loud ass kids hanging around all over the place...crackheads...crack whores...what's crazy is I scoped the neighborhood during the day several times before I moved in so it all seem quiet...but the freaks came out @ nite...and not the good kind...in the end it wasn't worth it...on an aesthetic level it was a very nice home tho...still moved out after a year
Don't fall for it...to make it worse it's an apartment complex...you gonna hear all they bullshit if you got rowdy neighbors...only thing the landlord cares about is getting they rent on time

Exactly...a lot of the dumb shit will occur @ nite too so you can't really bring it to the property manager's attention...you basically have to build a full fucking case if you want to even make a decent complaint...pics/videos...names...times...dates

So I'm living in the spot in Decatur. My first year it was cool. No section 8. Property was maintained kept clean. And ran like a tight ship. There were no break ins. Everybody knew their neighbors and spoke if they saw anyone unfamiliar the police would roll through and post up....... 2nd year I renewed because I was comfortable and I'm not one that enjoys picking up and getting on. Not with snatching my son out of school etc. section 8 movers come in.....3 in the am I'm trying to sleep. Niggas playing cards on the balcony 
I'm like ight whatever..... Next couple days or some nigga beating up his ole lady in the middle of the fucking night .. ... From then on as more congregated the complex went to shit. Niggas didn't use the sidewalk... Walked on the grass till the shit turned to mud . Laid their trash bags in front of the trash compactor shooting for no reason (In the air). So now I get to thinking why am I paying a stack a month for rent to live with these assholes......
Management went to shit..... I guess because I'm 25 she thought she could try me. This past summer the AC unit stopped working.... Now mind you if I'm paying 1000 + to rent a month on time , if I have an issue I expected it to be fixed..... Nigha I went 3 weeks with no air. .... Bitch tried to give me a window unit.... I said no and threatened to sue for breach of the lease agreement.... Maintenance was there the next day with a new unit
That left a sour taste in my mouth they treated you like your $ wasn't shit because they were getting that guranteed $ from the government . It seemed like that's all they were worried about filling it with section 8....
Shit was so bad I moved in January a full month before my lease expired. I couldn't deal with the shit......
Oh and fucking roaches showed up...

That's definitely some section 8 shit. Swearing off sidewalks must be part of the application process. You are guaranteed to be playing "vehicle vs person" chicken where you find a bunch of section 8 folks.
You paying $1,000 a month; they paying $200 or $300. Rat ass bitches playing the disability hustle(every rat in Cleveland knows the disability hustle) while moving from broke grown kid to the next broke grown kid. Soon, people start going to areas where everyone has to pay like they weigh. That way you are guaranteed to have people who give a fuck about the place and their fucking lives.
That's my whole thing with section 8 how can you expect people paying $25 for a $1000 apartment to give a fuck? No one is going to pay a stack and tear shit up but these people pay $25 and treat it as such.
