Prince is a bad mofo.
You can say what you want about his lil' ass but dude has had dymes beyond those of mortal men. Plus, you never see him with a gang of dudes around him, which is homo as fuck to me.

LMAO!!!! Fam, you killin' me over here! I damn sure agree that there ain't another cat alive who could've pulled that shit off (and still be respected by straight Black dudes), but Prince! 'Til the very day Prince keep it poppin' with dimes galore. It's hard to imagine that there was EVER a controversy as to who was 'the man'... Prince or Michael Jackson? As Chris Rock said, 'The Prince fans won that shit like a muthafucka!' LOL :yes:
 
I swear....those old clips never get old to me. Always wished Andre would have stayed with the band when the Revolution was solidified as a group. Just seemed like Andre Cymone was more talented and suited to the group than Brownmark was. Fuck it....Prince's core group of musicians is second only to James Brown's.

BTW...I honestly think that Prince and Michael Jackson have been homeboys on the cool (no homo). I heard that they are supposed to be really good friends...but who knows...

Anyway....any thread about The Kid is a great thread to me.

Andre left to do his own thing, and besides, Prince never paid his various bands shit. They were on like a $250/week salary into the late '80s. He couldn't hang on indefinitely to the best talent (like Andre, Dez, Wendy & Lisa ...etc.) The band (and music, especially on record) was really all about him, ultimately. Didn't really need anyone, 'cept as back-up for concerts and for appearance sake in videos.
