Priest dies trying to walk on water [HOAX]

People laugh at this shit, but if he had just had some people said he did it instead of doing it he would be on Jesus level.

it's a set up, he's going to show up at church next sunday talking 'bout "The Lord didn't want me to walk on water, he had bigger plans! I spent all week in heaven with him learning and then he resurrected this morning because my faith is strong and he wants yours to be too... so open your wallets!"

That's the bible.....you know, dumb ass shit that never happened. Zombies rising from the dead after three days.....Jesus walking on water.....two of every animal....just get some cosignage and humanoids will believe. Start small and work your way up.

A priest has died after trying to demonstrate how Jesus walked on water.

Evangelist preacher Franck Kabele, 35, told his congregation he could repeat the biblical miracle.

But he drowned after walking out to sea from a beach in the capital Libreville in Gabon, west Africa.

One eyewitness said: “He told churchgoers he’d had a revelation that if he had enough faith, he could walk on water like Jesus.

“He took his congregation to the beach saying he would walk across the Komo estuary, which takes 20 minutes by boat.

“He walked into the water, which soon passed over his head and he never came back.”

No one told him jesus works @ hollywood

Great except for the fact that he died in 2006.

It is sad because people believe this nonsense and then try to recreate it in reality. The pathology is in the belief itself. Hopefully this stuff will soon be seen as myths as they should.

Priest: I don't get it God, why did you off me like that? Had me looking like a big jack ass in the process..
I mean I did all the stuff you like, I abstained from sex, little boys sex too, gave all my worldly possessions to the needy and poor, went to church every day for five years strait, didn't curse and lived sin free for years..... Why couldn't you give me the power to walk on water and show them guys, it still pays, to be a good devoted christian.

God: But I did give you the power to walk on water, its called a boat.

Pastor Tries to Walk on Water Like Jesus, Then Drowns in Front of His Congregation

by Barry Burch Jr.

Walking on water is not easy. Not too many people have the ability. Let’s see, there’s Jesus, and well, that’s about it. Unfortunately for one pastor on the West Coast of Africa, his attempt to become the second man to make this impossible feat a reality cost him his life.

Pastor Franck Kabele, 35, told his congregation that he was capable of reenacting the very miracles of Jesus Christ. He decided to make it clear through way of demonstration on Gabon’s beach in the capital city of Libreville.

Referencing Matthew 14:22-33, Kabele said that he received a revelation which told him that with enough faith he could achieve what Jesus was able to.

According to an eyewitness, Kabele took his congregation out to the beach. He told them that he would cross the Kombo estuary by foot, which is normally a 20 minute boat ride.

Sadly by the second step into the water Kabele found himself completely submerged. He never returned.

This is not the first incident of this nature in Africa. At Ibadon zoo in south-west Nigeria, a self-proclaimed Prophet claimed to be able to do what the Daniel of the bible did by walking into a den full of lions.

Though he was warned numerous times by zoo keepers, according to NG Newspapers, the Prophet thought of them as nothing more than enemies of progress. The Prophet, with a crowd of people watching, put on a long red robe and proceeded to enter the cage full of lions.

Within seconds of opening the door, the lions ripped the Prophet from flesh to bone. The bible should come with a warning label, “Don’t try this at home.”

We NEED more dumb asses to do the same! I would love to see this as a test of pass or fail to be a Preacher!:lol::lol:

His heart must not have been sincere.

Maybe he was trying to show off his special connection to God
to his loyal followers and drowned.
I believe a person today could walk on water
if they were doing it for only God's purpose.
Everything Christ did was for The Father.

I read this on an acquaintances facebook page and the incident happened just the way it should have, in my opinion.

If you ain't never heard nobody do something before it was written about or after it was written about, and the supporting text is the text itself, YOU KNEW BETTER!

What these men don't realise is that God is not into magic tricks. Throughout the bible any miracle that occurred usually happened due to a dire need. Daniel in the Lions Den came about because he was set up by counsellors in the Kingdom of Nebuchadnezzar... When Daniel was thrown in the Lions Den God saved him through his unswerving faith and the circumstance that came upon him.

Jesus walking on water this was a miracle like turning water to wine was not so much a need but Jesus showing his power over the elements, kind of like Neo in the Matrix. "You think thats air your breathing smh".

90% of miracles in the bible happened through necessity. When the devil asked Jesus to throw himself off the mountain, Jesus declined the challenge saying "Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God" A double entendre right there.

So people that do these mad things need to go away and really read the scriptures again :smh:
