I'm not sure who would have the most productive presidency between Obama and Edwards, but Edwards has certainly been the stronger candidate so far and, with the emphasis he's placed on poverty, he'd have to do more than another Democrat elected on the "Anybody But Bush" aftershocks. I'd greatly prefer either over Hillary Clinton.

You don't have to prove those stats to me. I understand them all too well. The fact still remains that a black man, 18 -24 on a positive path has a much better shot at staying out of trouble and not being murdered than someone same age/ race living criminal life. Poverty plays a big part in which side of the fence you fall on.
Edwards DOES have some interesting ideas about attacking the poverty & class issues in our country but that doesn't excuse the irresponsible remarks in that vid. His campaign is already dealing with enough issues including not being able raise the type $$$ it takes to compete for the long haul. Was that answer he gave really useful?

We all know they aren't building new prisons to house the growing number of white convicted felons.I listened to Sean hannity punk ass yesterday and was disturbed at how this guy was taking the whole comment out of context and saying that we as blacks should be outraged by these comments. He managed to find a statistic that said that ratio of black college students to black inmates was 4 to 1. And acted like that was good! Come on man..
