Kinda fucked up, I can remember a time when a 15 year old getting pregnant was shameful. Not so much anymore. Hopefully the other kids at her school are afraid of being treated like her and will take precautions.
While I don't agree with her getting pregnant at such a young age, what the school did was disrespectful to her, her family, and her unborn child but also about the most un-adult thing I have ever heard from an administrator(s). It's almost tantamount to the bully on the playground going "Ha, you fell and peed your pants!" Except this time it was probably on a stage with a microphone and tri-colored spotlights.

Us as a parents suppose to look out for our kids not supoort them cause they feel a need to have a kid mistake or not! The school is there to teach and protect it's students. It's supposed to be s safe space. Shame is someone else's job.

I'm actually with the school on this.
Teem moms have become all to common these days & it's not looked down upon to be knocked up at 16.
While I don't agree in how they went about outing her, hopefully more kids will think before they have sex.
There was a Mexican who got pregnant in 7th grade at my jr. high back in '98 so...
I'm siding with the school on this one.
So nobody's gonna ask why she was 15 and still in elementary school huh? Next she'll be able to vote and whatnot. Still not in high school. That said they are wrong for outing her in a public forum.
Kids don't think like that. Even in the days of "shame", teens still got pregnant.
No one asked because most likely we don't know. Maybe she was held back once (or more). Maybe she started school late. Doesn't matter.

used to be 7-9
