I mentioned the glycerin in the hair thread but glycerin is great for people of color because it's a natural humectant. I add it to my lotions along with vitamin see and my skin remains soft, tight and supple.
I also add it to my shampoos to maintain pliability even before conditioning.
And 2 tips I learned recently:
How to get candle wax drippings off the floor. Take wax paper and place it on top of the droppings. Iron over it on low heat and the wax should stick to the wax paper.
Keep pieces of bread in a box of cookies to keep them moist.
