just rooted my droid x. so how simple is it to install a rom/theme (is there a difference between the two)? xda has some threads on it, but them things is like over 100 pages each. is there some guide, pdf, or whatever on how to install these things.

Reboot into recover, wipe date, cache, & Divk. What recovery are You using? The best place for droids is here...

i got the Bootstrap recovery.

im on that site now, someone just offered to make a tutorial on this, because they were bored.

Once You do it a couple times, it's easy as pie. One thing to remember, always do a backup

Yeah, I've wondered about that too. My ex-girl saw pictures of chicks in my gallery (saved from the internet) and she tried to act like it didn't bother her but I can tell that it did a little bit.

Dude is a bitch though... or at least he carries himself like one. He was shitty in supporting that theme and I actually donated to him. He got mad at a question I asked and refunded my donation and basically said he wouldnt help me. lol.. I mean shit how can you be a developer and not support your shit when you're ASKING for donations for your beta themes? And then on top of that he refused to give out the wallpaper that actually made the theme look good and said he was keeping that for himself only. He does good work but he's a sucka. I ran that theme for a while though months ago.

That's on the person who the phone belongs too. As Days go by, glad I Rooted both Phones. The more you learn, the easier it is to have a damn near trouble-free phone (ROOTED) I had problems when it was stock, but I always knew could take it to the store, hell & they might not fix it right..
