Post the top 3 things you'd tell your 21 y/o self, if you could.

1 - Invest more into retirement plan earlier on. Make it a habit / routine.

2 - Don't waste time with jobs / organizations that don't compensate you well enough for all the work / stress involved. Get paid. Know your value.

3 - Spend as much time as possible with your loved ones. Life is short, and tomorrow's never promised. Make that quality time with them count.

Honestly bruh, this is awful advice.

My wife and I both plan to retire at 60, with zero debt and a solid retirement in place. Living solely for the moment will have you working as a Wal-Mart greeter for insurance benefits until death. We travel and do nice things now (while we're still young), but a huge portion of our income is dedicated to retirement planning - we don't even see it b/c it's automatic. Sounds like you may want to check out the story of the grasshopper and the ant.
I’m just talking about me I’m not giving advice. I don’t work a regular job. I have money stashed away but I’m not going to be worrying about shit like that. Life is too short for all that . As long as my kids are good I’m good.

Amazon was $18/share when I turned 21…would tell myself by $1000 worth. And leave it alone.

Hang around other people making INVESTMENTS, not those into shining.

Don’t worry yourself with trying to save the world. Mofos don’t want to be saved. Live your life!

that part right there
if more people (especially young people) did this, money would not be a problem.

401k is there for a reason. We used some of my wife’s to put money down on one of our houses. Retirement ain’t promised and most people die before they can retire . Not only that who the fuck wants to be old trying to travel? I want to live life now and enjoy it while I’m still an attractive male. I want to go back to Japan and have them bitches calling me Gorgeous in Japanese and blowing their backs out. When you’re old who gives a fuck about anything?!? I want to enjoy my youth and eat Asian ass

You can do all that now.

401K and retirement savings are for when you're not making the money you are NOW. When you retire, you can use your 401K and social security money and any other dividends you'll be raking in. Retirement money is for just that... money that you'll have to live on because you won't be making 100k or whatever you make now.

1. Don't marry her: Don't be in a hurry to get married. Hispanic and exotic women are not better than black women. The ghetto ass women you know from Detroit are not representative of all black women. Do not put pretty women on a pedestal, a lot of them are stupid.

2. Know your worth: Play to your strengths. You're smart, smarter than most, play to it. Don't choose that career. You're too smart to spend your life among mediocre white men of average intelligence. They'll resent you for being smarter.

3. Persevere: . Don't quit. Tough times make tough men. Don't be scared to try difficult new things. Don't be afraid of failure. Get rid of all the negative people in your life.
