Post something you expect to change after Coronavirus is behind us.

lol at all of the comments in this thread stating that this will be over this year.

this is not going to end this year. it might end by the middle of next year.

Fam...

My attitude to my people is just do what you supposed to and wait.

NOBODY knows when this will be over

And that is specifically because of poor leadership from the top

Keep clean keep safe follow cdc guidelines pay your bills best you can.

Thats it thats all.

Colleges/universities going all in on remote learning. A lot of them have been doing it, but I think it's gonna become more central to their model. Like, the on campus learning experience will be super expensive and elite, but remote learning will be the standard. I live in Nashville and I think about an institution like Fisk University that's basically on the brink of closure. They could reshape their whole shit.

There are going to be waves of college closures; particularly amongst lower-tier private universities and a smaller number of regional publics. Flagships publics and mid-tier to elite private will be ok but everyone’s money is going to hurt.

As a result of those closures, a lot of kids ain’t going to college; you can argue that with HS GPAs of say, 2.5 or lower should a kid even be in college, but it’s at least an opportunity for a restart that’s going to be closed off.

Additionally, a lot of non revenue generating sports at ALL college are going to go bye bye. The loss of revenue from March Madness being cancelled will have a huge ripple effect. A lot of schools will have just enough sports to be Title IX compilant. Others will just say fuck it and shut down athletics altogether.

People gonna have emergency funds to the best of their ability moving forward

Folks were supposed to have those after the ‘08 crisis.....you see how that went. Too many folks, both of and without means, live on the margins and can’t find dime one to put towards tomorrow because it has to go towards today.

In Ohio our deadline was October, but I think the Governor pushed the deadline to December/ January 2021

Sick time, medical leave, medicare and vacation time are going to be HUGE topics of debate.

There may be debates forced by reasonable-minded people but I'm not sure if America is capable for doing things like that anymore. Look at how many are still in Trump's corner even after what a fiasco his response was. In any rational society, the GOP would be on the verge of extinction after this but I guarantee the vast majority of red states will remain red.

Pro sports schedules will be changed going forward

More summer time pro sports.
Fall/winter/spring is when people are more likely staying home due to colder weather.. The more staying home the more tv watching people do.. They watch tv to entertain themselves from boredom... It's why you notice most tv series start during the fall.. Why things like nfl, nba, college start in the fall.. More possible viewers during that time... World series during fall... There's a reason why certain things come out when they do... Summertime people out enjoying themselves, less viewership of tv all around.. They not gonna change sports schedules due to that factor alone.. Watch once summer comes watch how fast entertainment bizz as far as social gathering events boom.. Shit gonna be crazy once the people get the ok that you can go out now

The population count, and that's it. The people in this country are too fucking stupid to learn anything from historical events. Look at what's going on now. When the mis-named Spanish flu hit, Philadelphia had a parade, St Louis decided to shut the city down. A lot of people in Philadelphia died that year, and a lot of people in St Louis lived. You'd think we would have looked back on that and acted accordingly, but we didn't. So, I don't see shit changing in this country, because 'Murricans.

1. Telemedicine - it will be more accepted by insurance companies for reimbursement purposes
2. Technology in Health - data, chips, you name it. Tech in Health is about to explode
3. NP/PA - will have more autonomy to practice solo across the nation

I say the same thing over and over. People think we're new improved versions or hardware that's had it's software updated. We're not!. We're the same stupid motherfuckers from 1919 or 1930's Germany. I think social media is having a horrible effect on much of the population.

Bball in 90 degree weather ain't the best thing on earth for running up and down the court just saying

As usual you right.

So do think EVERYTHING gonna go right back to the way it was?

Can you at least name one business, one medical, one social and one sport , one sex industry IMPROVEMENT that will redult from the quarantine?

Not much will change because we live in the United States of Amnesia.

Mofos will forget shit and go back to their usual routine.

But a small percentage of the US population is going to enjoy the quarantine of not having to go to their corny, low paying, no purpose job and enjoy the freedom they had in quarantine.

They will proceed to create new forms of employment where its more leisure, stay at home type work.

I should add rich people will find ways to isolate themselves even more.

I think we'll see more places like San Francisco and Hudson Yards where they have just completely priced all but the top 2 or 3% out. The working and middle class will only be around for services and then commute for hours home.

Yup! Probably this time next year, you will see jokers using the restroom, walking out without washing their hands, jokers sneezing and coughing without covering up, there will be more hand sanitizer, paper towels, etc. stocked to the capacity on shelves. Yeah nothing will change.

latest

Movie theaters. If this lingers for 6-9 more months, new releases will be streamed directly. It's actually already beginning to happen, but that could become the norm. It's not so much the experience, as it is the movie itself. You can watch a movie w/ your fam at home (with cheaper snacks).

I don't think it's far-fetched for theaters to become a thing of the past. Remember going to blockbuster, or picking our your favorite CD or "tape" in the store? Same happened in those areas, so it's not impossible.

Streaming has created a direct to consumer model. Why go through AMC or Cinemark when it can come directly into your living room?

Universal is working hard to make this prediction come true. See recent dispute w/ AMC and Cinemark.

A trend I see happening is that more Americans make a mass exodus from major cities (like NY and LA), into metropolitan areas that are more spread out but the commute times to downtown is no more than 30 minutes and more smaller metro areas being developed.

What areas you got in mind?

1.More stores with limited hours. They training people right now to shop at certain times so why stay open all night.
2. More PPV concerts/ events with no crowd streamed online.
3.People who are obviously sick won't be allowed in stores.
4.Stores gonna have stricter return policies
5.Trump telling us he cured it
