Post reconstruction - the perfect size

My college roommate's wife is recovering from breast cancer. Unfortunately she had a full mastectomy. The good note is that she doesn't require chemo or radiation.

She's in the process of tissue expansion for reconstruction. She was fairly busty before, but there is no way that she's going to be a 38/40DD. His wife is thinking about going to stop at a full B cup. My boy is pissed (but supportive). The other breast would be reduced (and lifted) to match the reconstructed breast. He's happy that his wife is facing a full recovery, but is not really feeling the smaller boobs.

in your opinion, what would be the perfect cup size if you could choice.

(i have the rare opportunity to put my porn viewing skills for good use).

I wish I could go back to this. It was perfect- big enough to be big, but not too big where they hurted or were bothersome.


Can't comment on the B cup though...
 
all the "breast cancer boards" women are looking for the "perfect C cup".

I told my boy that the D cup days are gone.
 
me personally...i could really care less....shit as long as she survives I can live with out
breast....

I guess to answer your question...an A or B would be cool...just enough to establish a curve

So let me get this straight.

Your boy's wife just recovered from the second most common type of cancer accounting for about 10% of all cancers, the second most common cause of cancer related deaths in women.

In 2007 About 1.3 million women worldwide were diagnosed with breast cancer and about 465,000 (about 36%) died from the disease.

This year an estimated 192,370 new cases of invasive breast cancer will occur among women in the United States and an estimated 40,170 women will die from it.

Hmmm ... let me see ...

In my opinion, and no offense, your boy is a fucking idiot, loser and/or blow hole.

I think you missed the key point in this post.

SHE IS RECOVERING.

So after the lump detection, and after the biopsy, and after the positive diagnosis, and after extensive imagery, and after the extensive consultation with multiple doctors, and after the waves of emotional breakdowns, and after the surgery, and after the success prognosis, he is an idiot, for supporting his wife, and continuing to raise their kids.

I'm close to the family (long time friend, best man in wedding, godfather to the oldest daughter), so I have some insight into this particular situation.

Now that there is a choice in the matter, you think, he's an ass for having/or expressing an opinion? His wife is 37. She's going to have reconstruction, and is treating it as a "perk" to the recovery. The question to the ladies on the board is what is the perfect size.

If you want to expound on the statistics of breast cancer, create a new post.

I was gonna say what Sean said had he not said it ..

I mean .. If I had to give up my boobs to save my life and then was able to get new ones .. I wouldn't care. I'd take anything ... As long as it was bigger than my tummy. No one wants tummy that is bigger than your boobs ..

But to say dude is pissed abt smaller boobs is crzy.. She probbaly feels pressured to having boobs .. Even though she's recovering, she still risks coming out of remissing with the implant. But knows how he feels abt boobs so she's putting herself at further risk by getting them.

Anyway, a "perk" to recovery? Come on son. :hmm:

I still think it's mad vain to be "pissed" about a 2 cup breast size reduction rather than the status of wifey's remission ... full remission is NEVER really guaranteed by the way.

IMO, he gets no special points for doing all that shit you mentioned, being supportive to his wife, raising the kids and all. What, he's expecting a purple heart for valor?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trivializing the supportive role that cancer care givers play which is extremely tough to deal with but so very important. It's just that we tend to take shit for granted especially when shit is going well.

Reverse the prognosis and I guarantee you that big tittys is the last thing on dudes mind.

OK. Perhaps fucking idiot, loser and blow-hole was a bit harsh. My bad.
