Be honest with people. They don't have to like it, but they have to take comfort in me being 100 with them. Amsterdam is amazing. Picturesque, lively, friendly people...every chick looks like a runway model(they ride bikes everywhere so their legs are fantastic) and sex isn't some taboo thing over there.
