I have gotten pulled into the youtube rabbit hole of DKOldies, despite the fact I don't want to.

For those of you not in the retro gaming community, DKOldies is an online store that sells older video game consoles and games, they have recently come under fire for their pricing, which is admittedly high, and their claims that they clean and refurbish their products, which has been shown to not be true as people have received broken consoles or consoles that have never been opened or cleaned.

While I do respect the Youtubers who bring us the videos to prove that DKOldies is not worth the high prices because it is very helpful but the constant, daily, redundant videos on DKOldies are a symptom of YouTubers attempting to hop on the trend and an algorithm with the hope of sparking a buzz growing their channel and I think it hurts the platform as a whole because the quality is shitty and it's obvious these YouTubers are trying too hard.

I hear you! That's why I have 4 different YT accounts. As long as I remember not to to double like content from different accounts, it's manageable.
