Post a movie that didn't get a lot of fanfare but is a classic...

The most important thing about the ending, the truest thing, is what I tell anyone considering committing suicide:

Salvation can be just around the corner if you give it another minute. If you cut it short you'll never know. Don't cut it short.

I'm not religious, though I do believe in God or a higher power. But, this movie shows you that nothing is ever as hopeless As It seems. Give it a minute, maybe two.

Powerful fucking movie, and totally underrated.

Frank darabont did it again. This man made three great Stephen King novels to movie conversions as director and wrote the screenplay: The Mist; Shawshank Redemption & The Green Mile
Normally, I hate downer endings, but for some reason this one worked for me. Props to the director for coming up with this ending.

I hear you 100%.

that's bold. You never see that in movies. Ever. When I saw it the first time I didn't think that they were going to go there, and they did. **** are typically sacred in movies, and when the director went there.... respect

I met the director Frank darabont when I went to the Shawshank 25th anniversary and Mansfield, Ohio. I'm angry I didn't have a copy of the movie, I left it at the house. He was more than willing to sign anything

The count of Monte Cristo 2002

This one is a favorite of mine. I love a good revenge movie. I can never get enough of them as I aim to write them myself
if you love revenge flicks watch the mini series with Gerard Depardieu -much more intricate revenge plot and more victims

A flick that didn't take itself serious and made fun of horror flick stereotypes and flipped it in a fun way
