Las Vegas woman resurfaces after belongings found on beach pier prompt search
Authorities were searching Thursday for a 30-year-old Las Vegas woman whose belongings were found unattended on the sand in California.
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Authorities are searching for a 30-year-old Las Vegas woman whose belongings were found unattended on the sand in California.
In a release from the Department of Homeland Security via the U.S. Coast Guard News site, officials said they are searching for Ashanta Ayana Elise Cobb-McNeil, 30, of Las Vegas. Officials said she sometimes goes by the name “Loni Legend.”
According to the release, Cobb-McNeil’s phone, shoes, wallet and passport were found unattended on the sand of the Venice Beach Pier in California just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities said the U.S. Coast Guard, Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Santa Monica lifeguards, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department Lifeguard Division are involved in the search in the air, water and on the shoreline.
Anyone with information on Cobb-McNeil’s location is asked to contact local authorities.
