Wonder how long he will be able to keep that up? That security sounds expensive...which will of course make the neighborhood criminals realize he is making more money than they initially thought...vicious cycle

And Black folk get mad when cacs don't want to live around Blacks
Because they create the conditions for criminality through economic and educational disenfranchisement and the destruction of the family structure. You know, you don't have to be a sellout to recognize that yes, in the moment sometimes drastic measures are unfortunately unavoidable. Coon shit

Cacs don’t want to live around us cause they don’t want us to really see how they live..the slutty wife, the downlow husband, the drug attic suicidal son, and the slut daughter who has zero respect for her parents, and the family dog that gets more attention and love from the parents than the kid

Ain't talking domestic shit. I'm talm bout shootings and murder. I live in Baton Rouge mixed suburbs, on my street and street behind me shootings damn near every week.

Damn sure ain't cacs doing the shootings

It's necessary in my neighborhood but I don't buy gas in my neighborhood. I go a bit out of my way to get it from Costco. I don't mind driving for safety and the other things I get from a Costco run.

they need to do that shit in Chicago on every store corner on the southside....

Business owners in the community should go in on a private police force. That's what they did in Buckhead, granted Buckhead has the money to do that. But yeah...split the cost among the businesses in a given neighborhood. That would supplement police and private citizens. If that ain't enough time to figure out a way to move.

Yep. Working for Frito years back had possibly the worst gas station in detroit on my route. Niggaz literally sat inside the gas station and trapped all day. Smoking cigs and blunts. Had a nigga dump my whole shelf out 1 day cause he'd stashed his sack and couldn't find it. They definitely needed this level of security

I wouldn't live in a neighborhood that needs that but for those that do, I supposed you gotta do what you gotta do.
true but for some of us, we live where we can afford. we all want nice shit, sweet shit, no bullshit but you already know some mofo gonna come with the drama. Some of use can afford to move, some of use can't. I can't be mad at folks who stay and do what they need to do.

Private Security Guards Are Replacing Police Across America

Andre Boyer enters the gas station like a soldier—back straight, boots shined, AR-15 pointed towards the floor. He’s late to meet me, he says, because his employee caught a shoplifter and he needed to sort through red tape. He seems unaware of the flutter of anxiety spreading through the store as customers see his weapon, handcuffs, and bulletproof vest. But if anyone asked, which they don’t, he’d assure them that he’s there for their own good, even though it’s hard to be relaxed in the presence of a loaded gun.

This will soon be common sights in Malls, Hospitals, Grocery Stores, any major public place.

Georgia is considering allowing Hospitals to create their own police forces like School Districts.
