Took me a while to get find the right info but I got it.

I have linksys router so I went to the linksys setup page. They have an Applications & Gaming tab. Found my computer IP address from ipconfig, then when to remote desktop on my phone.

I have a french Windows, so the following might not match exactly what's on your PC, but it goes like this:
Open the Control Panel (Start > Control panel)
Head to System
Click on "Advanced system settings" on the left menu
Click on the "Remote control" tab
On the lower section of the window, check the second option, namely "Allow any version of Remote Desktop"
Click OK

And you're good to go. Windows 7 versions with SKUs lower than Professional (Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium) will not have that option available, so if your version doesn't match Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate you will need to find another way (VNC, logmein, whatever).

You will need your network/PC's IP/address; depends if you want to connect from your carrier's network or from your own network's wireless. As it's quite a pain to explain NAT tables, routers and ports, I will assume you already know those.
For the record, RDP uses the TCP port 3389, and if you use sound, its own UDP port. Just forward TCP 3389 if you use a router and would like to connect from your carrier's connection.
What more, if you have a very restricting carrier that doesn't like other ports than 443 and 80, you will need to use a VPN like I do (or change the RDP port accordingly; use Google)

On the HD2, Remote Desktop is located in Start > Tools > Remote Desktop Mobile.
Now just fill in whatever information you have.
Computer: Your computer's (IP) address; if you use a non-default port follow it by ":" and the port number
User name: The user name from your Windows account
Password: The password from your Windows account
Domain: leave empty (unless you're using a domain, of course)

Check "Save password" if you're too lazy to type it in every time, then hit the left softkey ("Connect").
If all goes well, your HD2 will successfully log in. Note that if the session is already open on the PC it will be halted until you log in again.

Thanks, I have a westell modem and I'm still having issues, I use port 3389 and enabled it on my routers home page and I'll get this working out soon. I do have a software firewall installed and that may be the issue.

The application is suppose to allow the user to make a call and go right to the person you are calling’s voicemail. That sound nice, I might just have to try it out and get you guys a review of the service when possible.
