Gabriela Pereira, 29, was arrested on Friday in connection to a procedure she performed on an unnamed patient in 2024 at the Tonya Beauty medical spa in Orlando. According to the arrest affidavit, which was reviewed by Law&Crime, Pereira first saw the patient on April 16, 2024, to perform an Endolaser treatment on her chin area. The patient left the appointment with "burns" that eventually blistered, and the tissue became necrotic.
After her initial appointment, Pereira saw the patient seven more times in an attempt to correct the damage. The affidavit stated that Pereira offered up her services for free in exchange for using the patient as a "model" for Tonya Beauty and show of her results.

Emely Martinez, 35, faces at least four counts of practicing dentistry without a license in two counties in the Sunshine State, along with a scheme to defraud charge.
Martinez allegedly advertised on social media under the name Itsthe Veneerlady to insert the veneers for a dramatically cheaper price than the going rate, cops said, according to a probable cause affidavit reviewed by Law&Crime. In one case, Martinez incorrectly put in the veneers, causing the patient "pain and injury," cops wrote. A real dentist had to perform "emergency dental surgery" to save her natural teeth and discovered Martinez allegedly used "nail glue" to insert the veneers.

I think one of the main problems too is that people get the work done too young / early.
If you're in your 20s and 30s ... you shouldn't be requiring drastic plastic surgery. Then when you do ... you get additional work done to "maintain" that beauty standard you've tried to set for yourself, instead of just aging gracefully.
Also, I know many of us have been around female family members and coworkers in their 50s - early-80s who look NORMAL. I.E. - they eat a normal diet, exercise reasonably, etc. They look REAL. And its fucking refreshing to see people who look healthy and their stated age.
