Pits are cool. She gonna tear everything up... EVERYTHING!!! They are insane chewers. They need to chew on something constantly until they are about 12-18months. An get the dog in obedience training now, they are so smart she will love it right now. It will be a pain in the ass when she get too old.
I asked my crew for suggestions and they said they didn't give a shit... sorry

And yea, they're crazy chewers! Mine is almost 11 years old now, and STILL has the urge at times.

I thought it was just my dog. When I took that muthafucka to the vet they said pits chew threw everything an I was like ok. Then this muthafucka started chewing on the baseboards and staircase I was like 
son got her food in a to-go tray from "the cookout"...dead!!

yeah..put lemon extract in a water bottle and spray it where ever you see them biting..and that will cut it our..they hate that bitter taste..go to family dollar and get them the big dog bones..i have a friend that goes deer hunting..and he saves me the leg bones..i put slow roast it in the oven with a little bar b que sauce on it for flavor..man-when i toss that in the yard i dont see my dog for atleast 2 to 3 days..!!
I don't know why that's the 1st thing I noticed too. That dog going to eat that shit before the food watch. You got that to go plate like you know the dog ain't gonna stay long That red toy is a kong right? You can put peanut butter an whatever in it. What kind of food you get? I always had my pit on Diamond but you can only get it at a feed store. Both my dogs on taste of the wilderness now an they love it. kind of expensive though if you ask me. My vet told me to put a little honey or syrup if you don't have honey in the dog food in the morning to keep the blood sugar up. Just a little bit though that drench it like its waffle house

Get her some deer antlers will take them months to finish and will avoid her from chewing your shit or house up literally.
Walk her regularly and take lots of places to socialize her and get used to all kinds of folk. Keep them secure too cause they love to bolt once they get a certain age. You have to look out for her more cause of the stereotype. Nice looking mix breed.

And whenever we go out, she been shivering like like a muhfucka, it's been cold & rainy in the A for past week. What should I do besides keeping the trips short?

I bought a crate yesterday. But I was talking about when she outside or riding shotgun.
I like my new friend. She always wanna be on me, if my feet are anywhere in range she laying on em, leaning on em, standing on em (with all 4 paws, I'm a sz 14). I let the recliner back and put my feet up, she act like all sad, she felt some kinda way. Eventually she went and found a spot on some shoes by the door, while I had my feet up.

Lol...I call my dog "shadow " or "3rd foot"... whenever I look down I see right foot,left foot, dog.
Petsmart will slay you. I just got an APBT puppy not too long ago too. He's 8 weeks old now and strong as an ox. Razor sharp teeth. Pad training him and crate training him. Got his second round of shots so I can finally walk him over da weekend. Gotta get him to stop pissin' on everything too although hr only poops on his pads. I feed him Pedigree and mix soft food in it sometimes. He doesn't chew on everything because I got him a shit load of toys. I'ma trick off on his punk ass. Get him a customized harness with a name plate on it. He's gonna be big as fuck. His pops was big. Seal/white. Probably leave his ears alone. I have it out with him at least 3 times a day tho'.
I'm at the Vet now, first visit is free for VCA. She's getting 2nd round of shots and some mo stuff.

Yearly shots and shit can add up. Dog fucked his paws up and got an infection plus needed his shots around X Mas fucked up our whole christmas and new years.
They got a black female vet out in Decatur called the Village Vets. Real cool and runs a good practice.
I hate those dogs. .
